NEW YORK (July 27) - "I was SHOCKED to see a giant breast on the cover of your magazine," one person wrote. "I immediately turned the magazine face down," wrote another. "Gross," said a third. These readers weren't complaining about a sexually explicit cover, but rather one of a baby nursing, on a wholesome parenting magazine - yet another sign that Americans are squeamish over the sight of a nursing breast, even as breast-feeding itself gains more support from the government and medical community.Babytalk is a free magazine whose readership is overwhelmingly mothers of babies. Yet in a poll of more...

Ever since the last Automatic Update from MS, the FR pager has stopped working right. When it tries to work I get the popup below. My husband has played around with the settings in IE at Tools-Internet Options-Security, but enabling Activex Controls there is not fixing it. Running XP Home SP 2 - all up to date... IE 6.0 MS Antispyware PC-Cillan Not sure which of these is stopping me up or where to look.
  • South Park: Cartoon Wars ['South Park' Goes After Mohammad Censorship]

    TV Squad ^ | Apr 6th 2006 | Adam Finley
Posted Apr 6th 2006 9:17AM by Adam Finley Last night South Park, in a way only South Park can, managed to mix Family Guy and the recent kerfuffle over cartoons involving the Prophet Muhammed into a scathing indictment of both. In the South Park universe, the "offensive Muhammed cartoon" is an episode of Family Guy which the Fox Network decides to censor. Cartman convinces Kyle to join him on his quest to get the episode off the air. It turns out Cartman doesn't care about the offensive episode, he just really, really, hates Family Guy, calling it poorly-written and accusing...

I detest the media's fascination with covering live, and in great detail, the rape and murder of pretty women (Inspiration for rant, current live coverage of the sentencing hearing, on ALL news channels, of Joseph Smith's penalty hearing). They have been describing the torture and rape of a little girl in Florida for 45 minutes now, with a split screen showing her sweet picture while they describe everything this monster did to her. This is perverted voyeurism pretending to be righteous outrage and I see right through it. I'm damn tired of it. I'm sick because the media, and I...

    UPI ^ | 3/13/06
NEW YORK, March 13 (UPI) -- Religious parody on "South Park" has led Isaac "Chef" Hayes to quit the Comedy Central cartoon. Hayes, who has been with "South Park" since 1997, issued a statement Monday saying he has requested a release from the show because of recent episodes displaying "inappropriate ridicule of religious communities." "There is a place in this world for satire, but there is a time when satire ends and intolerance and bigotry toward religious beliefs of others begins," Hayes said. "Religious beliefs are sacred to people and at all times should be respected and honored. As a...

Bull charges bullfight spectators At least two people are being treated in hospital in Mexico City after a bull leapt into a crowd during a bullfight. The half-ton bull - named Parajito or Little Bird - breached the safety barrier and landed on the fans. The rampage ended when a fight participant entered the stand and killed the animal with his sword. Mexico City's bullring was built 60 years ago and is one of the biggest in the world, with a capacity of 48,000. Television images of the bullfight showed the beast jump over the heads of journalists and...
