Overall, this protest to “Shut Down the AEC” was a big nothing burger for the old haggard hippies. The Army Experience Center is in northeast Philadelphia and the hippies promised a max effort. It turned out to be a mouse fart. This misguided hippie protest occured Saturday May 2, 2009. Having mobilized 31 groups from NYC to DC, promised the world 700 people, they actually delivered 200.
