It is not the picture but the idiotic platitude that I find offensive. It would seem to fit Hitler rather well....he believed in something even though it cost him everything.
Either way, I haven’t purchased anything Nike since 1976.
Derek Daly is a bit interesting; I believe he still holds the altitude record at Monaco and I saw him hit a guardrail at Portland that no one has hit before or since. A good racer but not a great one, he seems likable enough; Irish for certain but still likable. Conner is thoroughly American but with extensive global experience. Conner seems thoroughly likable and I’d like to see him get an IndyCar ride because he’s a bulldog behind the wheel.
Legally, the guy with the knife is guilty of felony murder. I believe this is the first time I’ve had a problem with the felony murder concept——it incentivizes police to kill hostages.

I discounted all later statements under Hawking’s name because there is no way to verify they are actually his. His unnamed handlers issue statements and the press blithely prints them without any verification.
That’s because good news leaks out or is spread to insiders beforehand causing the price to go up. Then they sell when the news is made public. Its called “buy the rumor, sell the news”.
