In the “old days,” when good news was reported, the Stock Market would go up. Today, when good news is reported, the Stock Market goes down. Big mistake, and we have so much good (great) news about the economy!

The markets have and will always be a gamble. It has never been represented as anything else by legitimate investors.

No one with knowledge blames Trump for the markets sell off and few with none do either. That good economic news re employment, wage gains, jobs creation has always had a negative effect on market averages goes as far back as I can remember and I have been an investor for over 40 years.

I wasn’t talking about the market, I was talking about individual stocks. “Buy the rumor, sell the news” is a very old adage.
