Remember in the late sixties and early seventies on Saturday mornings or possibly Sunday mornings real early (around maybe 5 or 6 a.m.) there used to be a type of playhouse 90 Christian drama that was staged on live sets? There was 50s type of jazz music playing for background. A contemporary Christian setting in that they were depicting people living in cities in modern times that had issues that were biblical nature. Does anybody remember those shows? I was just up on YouTube it is 11:43 Eastern Time on January 9th and Chuck and Nancy have a little press conference going and of course you got the backdrop of some Union people and they were bringing up some union guy to have a little talk about the shut down Etc... I can only watch about a minute or two and I had to come up here and tell you all if you're interested, but it's more of the same they're not talking about the humanitarian and the ill legal activity along the border they're still talking about...

At 1418 this afternoon, I did not receive the presidential test alert. I'm a little worried. I know several people that received it, no problem, same area code, same town, but not me. What did I do? Was it a technical glitch? My phone was on, I waited purposefully to see the screen that says I got it. But I didn't get it. So what now? Do I contact my senator and complain, maybe it was something I did in my past, maybe it was a phone conversation that was previously recorded by the NSA, I just don't know what...

I was reading a short story by the author known as O. Henry and at the end of the story aristocracy versus hash there is the following an ending sentence stating ""Ten minutes later the slate in the Blue Ruin saloon bore two additional characters: 10." Out of which I cannot figure out any plausible meaning. would anybody know the meaning of that phrase?

I would personally like to thank those brave souls who challenged the Nazis on the beaches of Normandy and who landed behind the lines in gliders and upon parachutes to secure the beachhead so that the Allies could start their campaign towards Germany in defeat of the Nazi war machine. Many of these men were killed this day in action and are often forgotten as time progresses further away from that day in June of 1944.
