I encourage ALL Freepers to call the Texas Governor's office and voice support for Governor Perry to recommend a full pardon to the Board of Pardons and Paroles. I just called and spoke with a live person, but had to hold for 5 minutes. You can also leave a recorded message. The number to call is (800) 252-9600. As a citizen and defense attorney I sincerely believe Mr. Delay was completely railroaded in a political prosecution. I also believe his conviction will be reversed on appeal. Nevertheless I want to do everything in my power to support a good Christian...

    Rasmussen Reports ^ | July 15, 2010
Democratic incumbent Russ Feingold and his chief Republican challenger Ron Johnson remain locked in a neck-and-neck battle for the U.S. Senate in Wisconsin. The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in Wisconsin finds Johnson with 47% support, while the Democrat earns 46% of the vote. Two percent (2%) like some other candidate in the race, and six percent (6%) are undecided. This is the third straight month with Feingold attracting 46% of the vote and all three months have shown a close race. A month ago, Johnson had 45%. Two months ago, Johnson was at 44%. Feingold was...
  • Kagan On Guns: Court Precedents Are 'Settled Law'

    Newsmax ^ | June 29, 2010 | Newsmax
Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan says she considers recent high court decisions expanding gun rights to be "settled law." Kagan was asked at her confirmation hearing about two recent decisions, including a 5-4 ruling Monday, which essentially guaranteed citizens' Second Amendment rights to have guns, no matter where they live. Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California decried growing gang violence in her state, saying officials need leeway to deal with it. Kagan responded that "once a court decides a case as it did, it's binding precedent." And she said judges must respect a precedent unless it proves unworkable or new...

    Fox News ^ | May 19, 2010 | Gene J. Koprowski
Contrary to the commonly held scientific conclusion that the Earth is getting warmer, a scientist who has written more than 150 peer-reviewed papers has unveiled evidence for his prediction that global cooling is coming soon. New research from a leading geologist indicates a coming period of "global cooling" may be dangerous. The hottest new trend in climate change may be global cooling, some researchers say. Contrary to the commonly held scientific conclusion that the Earth is getting warmer, Dr. Don Easterbrook, emeritus professor of geology at Western Washington University and author of more than 150 peer-reviewed papers, has unveiled evidence...

My sister's 5 month old boy is having serious complications from being born at 24 weeks and yesterday getting pneumonia. His heart stopped at the hospital this morning and he was revived with the "crash cart". It's too early to know if he will make it. Please pray for baby Evan, my sister Seana, my brother in law Casey, and our family. Thank you my Freeper family.
  • Delaware Senate Poll Has GOP WAY Ahead

    01/27/2010 1:33:17 PM PST · by Clump · 4 replies · 310+ views
A first look at Delaware’s U.S. Senate race following Beau Biden’s decision not to run shows why Democrats were hoping Biden would enter the race. A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of likely Delaware voters shows longtime GOP congressman Mike Castle leading New Castle County Executive Chris Coons 56% to 27%. Five percent (5%) prefer some other candidate, and 13% are undecided. The survey was taken Monday night following the announcement by Biden, the state’s Democratic attorney general, that he will not run for the Senate. In October, Castle led Biden 47% to 42% in a hypothetical match-up for the...

Please send the message that gays should NOT be allowed to adopt children. This is, needless to say, a very important issue as we Christians stand up and fight for Biblical marriage and family.

Carson has sunk to a new low by running campaign ads accusing Dr. Coburn of: 1. sterilizing an underage woman without her consent 2. committing Medicaid fraud 3. then covering it all up. These charges have all been discredited, and it is obvious that they are desperate since Coburn has come back in the polls. Call one of the following phone numbers, and let them know how disgusted you are with this dirty and shameful tactic. Call either (918) 283-8000 or 1-866-897-2723. Make Carson wish he had never gone down this road. Thank you faithful Freepers for standing up for...
