re: Kids in Africa running from vaccine

I rode a City bus in W/Los Angeles yesterday. Driver was black (30ish) as was his shift replacement driver standing up front near him. I overheard the two talking fairly quietly about the vaccine. Each said they will NOT take the vaccine and if demanded by the bus company would quit driving.
Bravado or truth? I don’t know — but they ended up agreeing that nutrition is what they are working on right now. FWIW

Another who has disappeared from Fox Business is Varney’s Brit buddy, Ashley Webster. And, it appears Susan Li is being groomed to replace Stuart when he retires. She, btw is very capable. Maria B seems secure in early a.m., but they were having her “audition” (so it seems) on that 4pm (Pacific) Fox News slot that has opened up with a different host each week - Kilmeade, then Maria and this week, Trey Gowdy. Interesting if they keep that going — I kinda like.

Keep an eye on these characters. They say adjournment but in the past have left someone there to “babysit” so it is not in complete adjournment. I think same for Senate.

This morning’s American Thinker provides encouragement in their top 4 articles. Agree with each. Plus a wonderful new word (for me) from VDH — “parodic”. It is a word that I needed to look up and then say to self “of course, should have known that”. Some how it goes with “sclerotic” in ref to any Biden admin.

And on a light note — thoughts of who will master the art of lobbing that Meringue Pie on Inauguration Day should it Not go our way crossed my mind. Bagster? you game?

True. Screen name came from a lop eared black cocker spaniel that I called “Li’l bunny bunster.” That sounds also like a 12 year old now that I think of it.

Back in the early 70’s it was a little trickier ‘cause very few “signature” license plates were on the road so we weren’t used to the sometimes tricky and cute meanings to some. Should you try it out on a kid it’s best to write down the license plate for them to read rather than verbalizing it just to add a couple more seconds or minutes to their solving it.

re: 3/4 of states approval to abolish the electoral college.

On adding States to Union — doesn’t that too, require 3/4 of the States approval. I just can’t believe the Dems could add Puerto Rico and D.C. just by Senate vote and Pres. approval. Do you know?

Watched this years ago. Highly recommend. The part I so remember is the interview with Spielberg on how at a young age (15? or so) he got a lesson from John Ford on finding the Horizon Line in a painting in Ford’s studio office. Then to a filmed view of a far off Horseman and Rider and Ford’s use of that horizon line. Just beautiful. Enjoy.
