I think the judge’s orders have been fulfilled in that the 3 years are up, the evidence has all been destroyed and the case these two attorneys were hired for is closed and their services are no longer needed. Time to disassociate and move on. There will be more info next week I’m sure.
No, that's incorrect.
The case was appealed and remanded back to the appellate court by the Georgia Supreme Court in December 2022. The appellate court then remanded the case back to the trial court in May 2023.
There are web comments stating that new orders to preserve the ballots were issued at the beginning of the year after the Georgia Supreme Court reinstated the case, but I can't find any citations of the actual preservation order.
Bottom line... this case is NOT closed and the preservation order remains in force.
