  • When a Camel Dies

When a Camel Dies In Geoffrey Moorhouse's book "The Fearful Void", the British adventurer/author describes his disastrous but soulful 1972 nomadic trek by camel across the Sahara from Tamanrasset (Algeria), to Tombouctou (Timbuktu, Mali) and then on to El Djouf region (Mauritania). The haunting survival story consists of but a couple dozen characters, including the camels, a European among the nomadic, including an aged and incompetent nomadic guide and, of course, the sands. And, though it is but one character of many in the story, there is a stalwart but servile aged bull camel. I mention this particular bull camel, ...

CNN Jeff Greenfield "Inside Politics" show Compares Cheney to a "French Fry" I guess CNN was so shocked over my posting, perhaps my comments on that Clinton chump Bernard Shaw got a couple of folks upset enough to strong arm some censorship of it. So, in the name of fairness, I re-post a more fair and balanced opinion of Jeff Greenfield's recent airing on CNN where on his Inside Politics, Cheney was compared to a "french fry". Jeff Greenfield had two guests on, who were commenting on the Cheney pick by Bush. Jeff Greenfield is a hopeless Clinton cultist and ...

Today I overheard two employees at work comment on a CNN show, which I realized they were talking about Jeff Greenfield and the show Inside Politics. I didn't watch it, and am basing the content of the show as aired solely upon the comments I overheard. I have no idea of the political bias of those who were making the comments, though one was Hispanic so it could very well be that one of the two was a Democrat, though not necessarily. Usually no one at work would discuss politics, at least never mention support for one candidate over ...

What I Like About Richard Cheney Cheney's inclination not to simply take the CIA's analysis at face value, knowing well that such analysis can sometimes simply be cover-your-briefing and sometimes best ignored. In more than one NSC meeting during the intense Kuwait crises in discussions with the Brits, Cheney dissuaded President Bush from taking the chair and facilitating the opening and it's operation of which Bush was inclined to do, a touchy situation if he were simply a yes-man of Bush, Cheney having the executive ability and experience to project his command of the seat in the proceedings where he ...

Distinguished and experienced. So where do you go to get distinguished and experienced? To a former or present Democratic Administration? Like, ah, the Clinton Administration? Boy, they sure have a lot of that distinguished and experienced credential types there. That is, if they aren’t being escorted into a penitentiary or under audit for crimes, or checking out a hooker in New Jersey. Or dead in a park. Maybe the Democrats and the distinguished and experienced media types thought Bush should have picked Susan McDougal. I mean, they voted her a Woman of the Century. Now, I suppose we could ...

You got the latest books, you got Dr. Laura, you got the fjb stuff, and you got Jews who want to protect their homeland messing up Clinton's Legacy thing Mid-East Peace Talks, and boy, word is Janet is going to get them fjb's. So, the Clinton-Gore Department of Injustice government is now getting its feet wet tinkering with political censorship and sniffers on the Internet. I guess it sort-a started with a V-chip this, peep-chip that, periscope-chip next. There is already a name for the man behind the chip, the eye looking at you for your hate crimes like the ...

Hey, this thing is GETTING TO BE FUN! LIKE A BOLT OF LIGHTNIN’! Why not get Dan Rather and the other Lewinsky’s to bust their bottom, and the RAW-publicans can run this thing around and start making them all look like they’ve been put on a fat pony ridin’ down the road to goofiness. The fat loafers in the media now got to turn to the RAW-publican Party for the buzz, the Bush camp who can run ‘em around, and if the cards are played right, those dumb phony liberal talking heads will all look like LOSERS, the wanna ...

It’s starting to turn out that the real bottom line in this election isn’t the issues at all. The media is trying to make out that it’s all about George W.. And, the whole V.P. thing is all part of that. But it’s really about the liberals. It’s about liberals who don’t feel very good, don’t feel good about this Al Gore thing, and like, he’s just too 15 minutes ago. You see, the bottom line is, the reality is, that it isn’t the issues. I know it. They know it, man. It’s about Al Gore. The Gore man. ...

Let’s Support G.W.’s Choice Frauds keep superstitions alive. And for sure, no matter who G. W. picks for running-mate, the Democrats and the media are going to try and spin the choice to somehow drive us against each other to the advantage of Al Gore. Janet Reno, Hillary Clinton - now, perhaps there you have a real monster. But, I am not going to try and turn Al Gore into a monster, because he isn’t. The Democratic Party, on the other hand, with the ilk of Waters, S. J. Lee, and so many of the other dire cultists of the ...

Hillary!2000 Offices Inundated with Mailings of Soap Bars It’s repulsive how the phony liberal network news picks and chooses what will be the news – worst, is not so much the dis-information, as the no-information. The last eight years have been the worst, and of course we had the recent classic, back when butch Reno celebrated Easter Sunday Weekend with the jack-booted style home break-in, Miami, followed by that sickening orchestrated photo-op of Reno in her office amidst flowers. As we all know, and which was purposely not reported by the Clinton sycophants of the media, an AP reported ...
  • Word is: PATAKI, V.P. choice

The word is: PATAKI, V.P. The word is, it's Pataki, N.Y., as the Veep choice. Everyone has been saying Frank Keating. I don't know about that, but from the mill D.C. it's: PATAKI. Well, if it's him, it's an amazing strategic move. Don't be distracted by Pataki's gun stance. Just as we have been losing our nation incrementaly, we are now taking it back incremently, and this would all be part of that pincer move. And the pincer move is now squeezing Al Gore's head. Al Gore better re-think New York. Horowitz is having breakfast with Pataki this morning. So ...

11 Jul 2000 Clinton Recycles Phony Promises on Medicaid Reimbursement NEW YORK, NY --Hillary Clinton's latest election year "plan" was exposed today as a recycled broken promise Bill Clinton made to New Yorkers in 1994 while campaigning for former Governor Mario Cuomo. Yesterday, Hillary Clinton promised to change the federal Medicaid reimbursement formula so that New York no longer receives the lowest percentage of Medicaid reimbursements of the 50 states. Unfortunately, New Yorkers have heard this promise before -- from Bill Clinton in 1994 -- and the reimbursement formula remains the same, cheating New Yorkers out of hundreds of ...

    Al Gore | 7-4-2000 | Opinion
From the Weird Moments of Al Gore I want to go back to over three years ago past, at the time when Assistant Secretary of the Army Sara E. Lister, one of President Clinton's Pentagon appointees who had to step down from her position, told a panel of academics and military personnel at Harvard University's Olin Institute in Baltimore on October 26 that the "Marines are extremists", and "dangerous". I'm sure many of you recall this. And, about that time, Albert Gore came out and said Americans are held hostage by the GOP. In fact, what he said was that ...

POWELL - NO. Back in 96, it was reported and well known Bush Sr. was talking to Powell to convince him to be Bob Dole’s running mate. Some think that Powell would also make a good V.P. choice for Bush Jr. 2000. Powell is not a conservative Republican. That is not, in itself, a dilemma, in that conservative Republicans can be selective and will support non-conservatives, e.g. the recent support of Lazio. In fact, the V.P. choice does not need to be a conservative - depending. However, there is something about Powell - he talks too much about Affirmative Action. ...

The National Socialists of Germany were behind a holocaust of at least 4 million Jews, and the International Socialists of Russia, Germany, Eastern Europe, were behind a holocaust of at least 1 million Jews, thought the figures are probably much higher but harder to measure since the Communists did not keep detailed records as the Germans did. NO ONE LISTENED TO MOSHE. They can burn down a church with children in it, and still no one will listen . . . Hungary. In 1941 more than a thousand "foreign" Jews, those unable to document their Hungarian citizenship, were expelled from Hungarian territory to Polish Galicia. I remember going to the station to say goodbye. We thought we would see them again, someday... But only one managed to escape, and that was Moshe. Dazed, he told a hair-raising story: Those thousands who were expelled had been slaughtered and buried naked in ditches near Klomyya, Stanislav, and Kamenets-Podolski. He ...

LEADERSHIP ("Shresthah Acharya", "Leadership" - Ashoka, 3RD Century BC) Leadership is not sending men into battle. Leadership is leading men, men who freely follow the respected one. Leadership is respect for the leader, not for the head-dress, the garment or throne. And a leader cannot teach the people to stop, if he does not stop. Before teaching, there is principle. A leader is a teacher, and a teacher must follow the principles even before he teaches the first chapter or verse. The first principle is command of the senses of the mind and the body. The king or the ...
