The problem in the original article are the rectifier diodes for use at infrared wavelengths, of which the article makes no mention. In metals, such as gold, the extinction length is about 1.5 wavelengths for IR. Semiconductor diodes will not work so other types are needed.
It may show that employers who require lots of overtime on their employees aren’t getting much in return and, in fact, may be costing the employers more in the long run.
I don’t see Ron Paul’s graph on there at all. How do you find out how far down he is? Could someone be so helpful as to put Paul’s traffic on there, I am certain we could all use a good laugh! Thanks!
They also ran back into the town square, siezed the civil war cannon monument, rolled it back to the hotel and started firing. They cleaned the primer holes with their herion syringes, lit the fuse with their marajuana cigarettes and wiped the sweat from their brow with Nazi armbands. Then the Ron Paul UFO landed and the death ray was deployed. All the while the communists, Nazis, fascists and dopers were holding up the Constitution, waving American flags, screaming for limited government, gold standard and enforcing the Constitution. What a despicable grass roots movement!
The rock was thrown from the part of the crowd that had the pitchforks and torches. The C-4 packed snowballs came from the part of the crowd that had the nooses. I thought I saw a few running back to their cars to get the flame throwers but they didn't have time to get them because Hannity was running so hard for his life. The camera cut off just as the battering ram was smashing in the front of the hotel. It's going to be tough to identify many of them because they were wearing gas masks.
I am amazed at Ron Paul’s successful fund raising. His message is clearly consistent with his actions.
He has overwhelming grass root support for limited government, defending the Constitution, pro-life and protecting individual liberties. His position is even stronger than Perot’s because he is in a major party and there are apparently a flood of volunteers working to get him the nomination. Hopefully this will be a rebirth of Conservatism.
The question is asked: why didn't the Generals resign in protest?
Maybe because the guy on the ground in the line of fire doesn't have that option.
Could it be the Generals in question were committed to their men and did the best they could, which would be to remain in post and support the troops they commanded and complain later?
The was not widespread criticism in the military when Clinton was President either. Is either case because of discipline or just lack of anything to be critical of?
Seatbelt laws give authorities another chance to catch terrorists. If just one terrorist is caught and a side benefit is increased safety, especially for kids, how can anyone argue against such a law?
It's wonderful to see a family travel the world and enjoy physically active vacations. The exposure to a variety of cultures, the hardships associated with foriegn and remote travel certainly give the youngboy a great perspective. The world is an education!
Ted Williams received a deferment in WWII and got quite a bit of heat from the fans. He then was in the Naval Reserve and saw no action in WWII. Read more at:
