Remain campaign supporters are rushing to blame Brexit backers for today’s horrific attack on Labour MP Jo Cox. Just an hour after a 52-year-old man allegedly shot and stabbed Mrs. Cox, who had been campaigning for Britain to remain in the EU, many online are seeking to tar with the same brush all those behind Brexit. There is currently no indication that the attacker was a Brexit campaigner, and reports over his shout of “Britain First” – the name of an anti-EU nationalist group – have had doubts cast upon them by Channel 5 news.

SMYRNA, TN (WSMV) - A Blue Angels airplane has crashed at or near the Smyrna-Rutherford County Airport, airport authority confirmed. According to Rutherford County Emergency Medical Service, one person was killed in the crash. The Blue Angels had been practicing on Thursday ahead of this weekend’s Great Tennessee Airshow in Smyrna. They flew over downtown Nashville on Thursday morning.

An EgyptAir flight carrying 66 people crashed while en route from Paris to Cairo on Thursday, and a top Egyptian official said it was more likely the jet was downed by a terror attack than a technical malfunction, NBC News reported. A group of 13 bald eagles found dead last month may have been killed by a person, a new autopsy reveals. The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (FWS) is now offering a $25,000 reward to anyone who can lead to the person who killed the birds. The eagles, found in Maryland, did not die of natural causes the analysis showed. Though the necropsy has not revealed exactly what killed the majestic bald eagles, the analysis has ruled out trauma. MADISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) - The Butler County Sheriff's Office was called to the Madison Jr/Sr. High School in Madison Township for a reported shooting on Feb. 29. A student answering the phone at the school says an 8th grade student shot two others in the school cafeteria. The district's Facebook page says a suspect is in custody. The University of Cincinnati is reportedly closed down this afternoon as police officers prepare for potential riots over the death of an unarmed man who was killed by university cops during a traffic stop last week. Samuel Dubose, 43, who is black, was shot and killed by white UC Officer Ray Tensing after Tensing reported that he was “dragged” by Dubose’s vehicle and “had to fire.” The shooting, called “not good” by Cincinnati Police Chief Jeffrey Blackwell, was captured on Tensing’s body camera and is set to be released today:
