About 8:45 this morning someone came through the molding dept where I work telling everyone we had to get out. We gathered in the parking lot and a few minutes later were told we had to go across the street to the movie theatre parking lot. Since we were told we could walk or drive over I drove which turned out to be a good thing. About 10:30 we were told we could go home but people without their cars could not go get them. Kansas City Troop Rally on the Plaza yesterday. Wonderful weather for KC in December. Turnout was steady at about 35 people, reaching to 50 at times. My brother-in-law, Charlie, was taken by my sister to the local hospital yesterday morning. Friday evening he wasn't feeling well and had slight swelling in his right arm. He has a history of heart trouble and my sister was afraid this was what was the matter. When they got to the hospital his pulse rate was 38 beats per minute.By yesterday afternoon his arm had swollen to almost twice its normal size and broken out in blisters. He was in critical condition when he was transported to a large KC hospital. A large area around his elbow has turned black....
