I lived in Europe for quite a few years and cycled like crazy. When I moved back to the States I had 3 road bikes and 1 MTB.

Had a car make a left in front of me directly in front of a German hospital. Knocked me out, bruised my left side from foot to shoulder but didn’t break anything. I dented the hood and roof and smashed her windshield. Was the 3rd ride on my new Litespeed Blue Ridge I built up for a tour in Switzerland. Destroyed that bike.

On a side note someone took the bashed bike out of the street and leaned it against the wall outside the front of the hospital. When my friend showed up a few hours later the bike was still there. That was about a $4k bike; that never would’ve happened here in the U.S.

Moved to TX and realized people HATE cyclists here. Guys I work construction with have said they go out of their way to run cyclists off the road. That’s crazy talk!

Years ago I turned off for home and left a guy heading home. He never made it home; was killed by a dump truck.

I recently sold my custom Merckx frame and fork. It was crazy dangerous 20 yrs ago when I moved here and it’s gotten steadily worse.

I found cycling to be great aerobic, anaerobic and leg exercise. But for me it did nothing for core and upper body and I needed other exercise to get that.

I’m not saying they won’t do it, but I don’t see legally how they can.

ATF declared the bump stock as a “firearm part” and not a “firearm” so it doesn’t fall under the NFA or GCA.

But I’ll bet they find or create a loophole and declare it a firearm.

Oh yeah...drain the swamp. Fire every last one of the GOPe dirt bags. I’ve had it with those guys.

Here’s our options for a Presidential election as I see them:

1. Vote for a Dem...not gonna happen.
2. Vote for a GOPe...then sit back and complain because he isn’t doing what we want/what he said he’d do, etc. As if we didn’t know that was how he’d act.
3. Vote for another sometimes called “third party.”

Which option will get us the change we want?

The GOPe has demonstrated time and time again they’ll drive the nation in the direction they want, not the direction the voters want...heck and not even in the direction President Trump wants...who just happens to be a member of their own party.

I’ve had enough. Actually I had enough a few elections ago.

I’m all interested in another option if anyone has it.

This was the 3rd election I practiced that.

I brought her to the dance and twice she wouldn’t dance with me. Instead she danced with my enemy. I’m finished with her.

IMO the only way the GOPe will support Trump is if they fear for their jobs.

And I won’t tolerate that any more.

By “hissy fit” I really didn’t stuff like that; because sometimes folks really do need strangling. HAHA!

Yeah...throwing chairs and generally having a hissy fit during a military briefing isn’t something I’ve ever seen. And after 20 yrs in the military I sat through a few of them.

Background: I have a couple gay friends...one is retired military. 30+ yrs ago spent an evening with my GF, her brother and his BF, and that was really my first known interaction with gays.

Anyway...something I never could figure out...why does a gay man dress up as a woman..to attract another gay man?

No one will ever convince me gay folks aren’t seriously messed up in the head.

So I guess a biological female who thinks she’s a male and manages to get her DEERS changed to read “male” she can shower along with biological males.

These people have lost their freaking minds.

Just more political BS shoved down the throats of our military folks.

These days I wouldn’t suggest to anyone the military is a good career choice.

I knew a couple gay folks when I was in. Heck even our pediatrician “probably” was gay. The wife worked at a bank and the doc and a friend came through the drive through a few times and looked too friendly to be just plain friends. But nobody gave a damn.

But this...this goes too far.

Guess this is rhetorical but just wanted to voice my opinion:

In those conversations, which were released today, Bergdahl explained why he was motivated to leave his base and jeopardize the safety of his platoon.

“All I was seeing was basically leadership failure to the point that the lives of the guys standing next me to were literally, from what I could see, in danger of something seriously going wrong, and somebody being killed,” he said.

Bergdahl said he was unhappy with the leadership in his unit and believed no one would take his complaints seriously. He devised a plan to hike 18 miles to another Army base to report his concerns to a general.

“I was fully confident that when someone took a look at the situation...that people would understand that I was right. What was going on was a danger to the lives of the men of that company,” Bergdahl said on the podcast.”

First off I don’t believe his excuse and I don’t give a flying flip why he did it.

He endangered the lives of his fellow military and a few were permanently disabled.

I say hang him...literally.

Shoot first, shoot often.

The 2nd Amendment is a Constitutionally guaranteed right that has been whittled away by local, State and Federal law.

I know a few folks that work in bad parts of town but are not legally allowed to carry a gun.

And now Congress wants to grant itself more special privileges?

I vote, “No” until they give the same privileges to everyone.

I’ve about had it with their “I’m more special than you” attitude.

I’m ex-military myself and that’s sad to hear. But far as I know the majority of my generation of military folks do not have that attitude.

I think you may very well be right regarding LEOs, etc. What I hope for is an across the board application of the law.

Shortly I’m moving even farther out into the country and hope to avoid the entire mess as long as possible.

When it gets to my house, my car, etc. I’ll deal with it as necessary.

Another item that must be factored in is TIC (Those in Charge) such as LEOs and the military. How will they react to the fighting? Arrest one side, arrest them all, shoot everyone with a gun, turn their backs, etc.

I’ve seen civil war and I really don’t want to see it here...or ever again. The non-combatants always seem to suffer the most.

But the ball is in the Left’s court. Their leaders need to step up and condemn the violence of Antifa and the other rioters. And Antifa and the others need to stop.

I’m just about of the opinion TIC near the top of the food chain want civil unrest.

I think the Right is displaying quiet restraint and their restraint will diminish in slow doses as needed to protect themselves and others. I don’t think we’ll see a peaceful today and an all out civil war tomorrow; it’ll be a slow boil.

Who will win? The Left will gain ground in the beginning, then they’ll get their asses handed to them in an unrelenting manner.

Again though...my most fervent thought is the Left wakes up, realizes this is absolutely the wrong path and stops.

Right on.

The GOPe can go frack themselves.

Every step of the way they’ve tried to undermine Trump and the will of the voters.

And they’re taking us to the same place the Dems are, just at a slower speed.

Until they change their direction, they’ll more than likely not see another vote of mine. I can’t say positively that I won’t vote GOP again because maybe another outsider will get the nomination like Trump did so...

Drain the swamp...every last one of them.
