    screaminsunshine,
    Thanks for your efforts!

If you job does not forbid you to engage in party politics, I hope you will take the next step and get into the real ball game of politics by becoming a precinct committeeman in Florida. Probably, plenty of openings exist where you live.

What state and county are you in?

Is there a write-up anywhere on the net that chronicles your success? Can you link us to it?

If not, can you write up a short article about what you did and how it works where you are? It will inspire others who read it to follow your lead.

    Thank you,

If you want to change the outcome of the elections, by changing the Republican Party, the BEST way to do that is to get inside the Republican Party as a precinct committeeman.

Go here to my blog and spend 13 minutes learning about The Neighborhood Precinct Committeeman Strategy:

    http://www.theprecinctproject.wordpress.com

    It works.

Go here to read a couple examples:

    http://www.redstate.com/coldwarrior/2010/12/04/they-stopped-complaining-about-the-republican-party-and-did-something-about-it/

    http://www.redstate.com/coldwarrior/2010/05/08/2101-of-3500-of-75000-denied-bob-bennett/

If we conservatives UNITE inside the Republican Party, and fill up the one-half of the precinct committeeman slots nationwide that are vacant currently, we can TAKE OVER the Republican Party. Instead of complaining about “the Republican Party,” we could BECOME the Republican Party — by electing its leadership. Precinct committeeman ARE the Party. ONLY THEY elect the leadership. This is the best kept “open secret” in politics — something the incumbents and the current leadership inside the Party NEVER discuss — because they are TERRIFIED if we conservatives figure this out, we’ll take over the Party. And, it’s there for the taking, as half of the voting slots are vacant.

Spend the time to figure out The Neighborhood Precinct Committeeman Strategy — it’s just good, old-fashioned, basic American Civics 101. Which the progressives successfully stamped out of the public school curricula just about everywhere while the baby boomers were enjoying the fruits of our capitalist system.

We have the numbers. Now YOU have the know how. Will you join me in taking back the Republican Party so we can elect better, more conservatives in the primary elections?

    screaminsunshine,

You said, “And look at the difference it made.”

What, pray tell, are you referring to? What is the “it?”

If you are referring to the hundreds of thousands of Americans who DID NOT get involved in the political process, you’re correct — that inaction did not make a difference.

If you are referring to the millions of Americans who thought they were “doing something political” by going to a Tea Party rally, and that’s all they did, you’re right, that did not make a difference.

If you’re referring to those who come to political “activism” boards like this and make comments, and nothing more, you’re right, that did not make a difference.

Please tell us what YOU have done to make a difference.

Please tell us if you have a better strategy, and what it is.

Here are some questions that you and other “keyboard activists” might want to ask yourself:

Do you know the name of your precinct?

    Its geographical boundaries?

The number of registered Republicans, Democrats and other voters in it?

Do you know any other conservative Republicans in your precinct?

Do you know how many Republican precinct committeemen exist in your precinct?

Do you know where your local Republican committee meets? And when?

Have you ever gone door-to-door in your precinct with a voter registration walking sheet to help get out the vote in a primary election?

Have you ever been to a meeting of your local Republican Party committee?

Have you ever spoken to either of your two state representatives or your state senator?

Please tell us what you have done to make a difference.

For example, other than preaching to the conservative choir, can you tell us, for example, whether you’ve recruited any Americans to actually get involved in party politics as precinct committeemen?

Can you tell us, for example, how many conservatives you’ve signed up as new Republican Party voters?

Can you tell us whether you are a precinct committeeman?

If you have a better strategy, I’m all ears.

And, if the “it” you referring to was coming to a discussion and not offering any constructive comments about what we ought to DO to change things, I agree, that does not make a difference.

So, do you have a better strategy? If so, could you please tell us what it is, how you think we should implement it, how it’s worked in the past, etc.?

    Doing something for liberty,
    Cold Warrior
    www.theprecinctproject.wordpress.com

P.S. I have done all of the above. If just ten per cent of the “sunshine patriots” who spend all their time preaching online to the conservative choir would, instead, actually get involved in Party politics as precinct committeemen, as I advocate (and have done), we would, together, take over the Republican Party and then be in a position to actually elect better people in the all-important, traditionally-very-low-turnout primary elections, who would then go on to win in the general election.

I can’t guarantee that The Neighborhood Precinct Committeeman Strategy will cause us to save our country as we once knew it, but I can guarantee this: if we DON’T get involved in Party politics as never before, we WILL lose our country as we once knew it.

So, screaminsunshine, I await your responses.

I don’t spend a lot of time here, so forgive my ignorance. How many people are on this discussion? Can we poll them? How many of you are, already, precinct committeemen in the Republican Party?

What states do each of you reside in?

I’m in Arizona. It’s EASY to become a precinct committeeman there — over 50 per cent of the slots are vacant.

Let’s do the math. Fewer than half of the voting membership slots of the Republican Party in AZ are filled. They are split about 50-50 between moderates and conservatives. So, we’ve got a half-strength, ideologically split party. Now, imagine all the conservatives in the various grass roots organizations that have formed (tea parties, 9.12 groups, Freepers, WeSurroundThem folks, etc.) UNITE inside the Party. NOW! Together. And sign up to fill all those empty slots. Now, again, do the math. That 50-50 split goes to 75-25 in favor of the conservatives. And, instead of going into the 2012 election cycle with an ideologically-split, half strength party, we go into it with a very strong conservative majority inside a full-strength party.

Go here and spend 13 minutes watching the videos:

    http://www.theprecinctproject.wordpress.com

Go here and read my recent comment at Redstate.com and follow the links:

    http://www.redstate.com/scipio62/2010/12/21/what-is-going-on-with-senate-republicans-i-think-i-know/#comment-592

The Neighborhood Precinct Committeeman Strategy is just good, old-fashioned, basic participation in the tradional American two-party system as some of learned in Civics 101. Which the government schools don’t teach any more — by design of the progressives who took over school boards while conservative Americans were enjoying the golf course or whatever.

We have the numbers — there’s about 200,000 vacant Republican Party precinct committeeman slots nationwide. Conservatives numbered in the millions around the country at the 9.12.2009 rallies. If just ten per cent of them would “pivot” out of tea party mode and get into “political party” mode, and actually get involved in party politics, we conservatives could TAKE OVER the Republican Party. No more complaining about “the Republican Party” — conservatives would BE the Republican Party.

    So, who’s already with me?

    Who will join me?

I am not going to allow my children to live under socialism. I need your help. NOW!

    Thank you.

Please see my latest comment at Redstate.com where I explain for the umpteenth time that if we want to take back our government, we have to take over one of the two major political parties and that the Republican Party is there for the taking if conservatives, in droves, would invade its local committees and become precinct committeemen. The reason the Party is there for the taking is because, on average, in every locale, over half of the precinct committeemen slots are vacant. PCs, and only PCs, elect the leadership and are in the best position to make sure the BEST constitutional conservatives get the most votes in the all-important, traditionally-very-low-turnout primary elections.

    Folks, this is THE WAY.

Don’t you think there should be a grassroots effort to contact Jamie Gorelick (Democrat and Obama supporter), Franklin Raines (informal Obama advisor), Jim Johnson (Obama advisor), Daniel Mudd and all the rest of the Fannie Mae/FreddieMac Rogues Gallery of “Friends of Bill and Hill,” as well as Slick Willie and Hillie, and ask them if they will give back all of their many millions of dollars they skimmed from the profits of Fannie and Freddie while they allowed them to continue their bad policies that lead to the current financial mess and ruined many lives of “little people” who will now have a bankruptcy in their personal history?

    Jamie Gorelick

Here’s info on Jamie Gorelick and the $26 million she skimmed:

    http://directorblue.blogspot.com/2008/09/jamie-gorelick-mistress-of-disaster.html

Jamie Gorelick can receive calls, faxes and letters asking her to give back the $26 million to the government and the taxpayers at:

    Jamie Gorelick

    Wilmer Hale
Co-Chair, Defense and National Security Practice Group; Chair, Public Policy and Strategy Practice Group

    http://www.wilmerhale.com/jamie_gorelick/

Gee, I wonder if her law firm partners would like the publicity of the fact that “Master of the Universe” Jamie Gorelick, who took $26 million from FannieMae on top of her $500,000+ salary, is at their law firm? I wonder if WilmerHale is going to get more work from the government to help put FannieMae back in business?

    Franklin Delano Raines

Contact Franklin Raines to ask him to give back all of the money he took from FannieMae while at the same time running it into the ground. According to the first article below, Raines got a $114+ PER MONTH pension for life plus all sorts of other goodies in addition to all the other money skimmed from FannieMae:

    Details:

    http://www.nlpc.org/view.asp?action=viewArticle&aid=738

    http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/businesstechnology/2004358433_webraines18.html

Raines also has been giving a lot of that money he got from FannieMae to Democrat Party candidates, $68,500 to Dems, $22,000 to “special interests” and, by comparison, a paltry $6,000 to Republicans:

    http://www.newsmeat.com/ceo_political_donations/Franklin_Raines.php

According to the Washington Post, Raines has settled into a job with AOL co-founder Steve Case’s ventures Revolution Health and Revolution Money (and, as noted on the Newsmeat site, Raines lists himself as employed with Revolution LLC):

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/07/15/AR2008071502827_2.html?sid=ST2008071503047&s_pos&s_pos=

Raines actually gets a mention on Revolution Health’s web site:

    http://www.revolutionhealth.com/about/index

Revolution Health urges people to contact them at:

    http://www.revolutionhealth.com/about/contact-us

One could probably send an e-mail to Raines courtesy of Revolution Health’s Media Relations folks at media@revolutionhealth.com.

Or perhaps write to Raines care of the company at:

    Corporate Headquarters
    Revolution Health
1250 Connecticut Avenue NW, Ste. 600
    Washington, DC 20036-2651

Plus, there’s a Franklin D. Raines listed on the District of Columbia Bar web site:

    Franklin D Raines

    Email: fdraines@aol.com
    Phone: 202-776-1400

    James A. Johnson

James A. Johnson lives in a penthouse at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in D.C. now and is an Obama advisor. I guess when you’re taking $21 million from FannieMae while running it into the ground you can afford it:

    http://www.minnpost.com/stories/2008/06/03/2078/obama_turns_to_trusted_political_insider_jim_johnson_for_key_campaign_role

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_A._Johnson_(businessman)

Probably best to contact Johnson by calling or faxing Obama’s Senate office in D.C., to ask Obama whether he is urging his friend to return the FannieMae monies and to ask for Johnson’s telephone number, don’t you think?

    Daniel A. Mudd

Daniel Mudd made almost $1 million in salary for fiscal year 2007 at FannieMae before being fired.

Here’s more info about this great public servant:

Probably best to try to contact Mudd through Obama’s office, too. Also, FannieMae might know how to contact Mudd and Johnson (FannieMae provided the following info to Citigroup in January, 2008 when Mudd told was scheduled to speak to them (see http://www.reuters.com/article/pressRelease/idUS210856+24-Jan-2008+PRN20080124 )):
