Dear Friends – I am very pleased to share some good news for Warrick Operations. The process to restart the three lines will begin immediately and is expected to be complete in the second quarter of 2018. The smelter is expected to employ about 370 employees – 95 who will be transferred from the rolling mill, up to 200 who will be recalled from layoff status and the...
  • President Trump, Why Not Let America Write the Obamacare Replacement

    06/23/2017 11:40:13 AM PDT · by american_ranger · 23 replies
Why not scrap the healthcare bill from the House and the one from the Senate? Pick a group of people from the medical field, insurance companies, and normal citizens and let them write the new healthcare bill. Make them post everything on a website that allows citizens' comments. After 6 months, put the bill to Congress. We citizens can write a much better bill than a bunch of Congress critters aides
  • Need Advice on a Good Blu-Ray Movie for Wife

What would be a good Blu-Ray movie to have playing when my wife sees her Christmas present (a 40" HD LED TV)? I want to show off the definition of her new present. I really have to play this up because she bought me a tablet for Christmas. I think the brand is Viagra. Yes. I stole the joke from another thread. Actually it is called R&D; ripoff and duplication.
  • Need Advice on Christmas Present for My Sons

I am thinking about buying one of these from Cabelas for each of my sons. We don't have a lot of cash this year and this is at the top of our range. Your thoughts would be appreciated. Sons are into God, guns, and UFC (Both watching and doing.) Cabelas: Pietta Model 1858 New Army .44 Caliber Revolver The Remington Model 1858 with its solid top strap was one of the most powerful and rugged performers of its day. Easily removable/replaceable cylinders made reloading extremely fast. These highly realistic reproductions include polished brass trigger guard, and walnut grips. Barrel length:...

It is being reported that Senator Clinton is now under psychiatric suicide watch. Aides noticed that she started exhibiting strange behavior late this morning. One unnamed source said she was watching Senator McCain's news conference when she suddenly started mumbling something about her last chance going up in smoke. Another source said that she started throwing lamps and blaming Senator Obama for all of her problems. Then she screamed, "McCain will only serve one term and then I'll be running against that good looking conservative bitch! Oh God, she even wears dresses and has normal ankles."Calls to former President Clinton's...

  • Goodbye Mr Burns: Ken Burns' "The War"

Dear Mr Burns; I just turned off my TV. I have watched 5 of your episodes on WWII. I have defended your negativism by posting positive comments on several blogs. But tonight is the end. Your blatant anti-Americanism propaganda in repeating bullshit about a recent West Point graduate being a battalion commander and ordering American soldiers to execute German POWs is way over the line. Recent West Point graduates are 2nd Lieutenants (O1). Bn Commanders are normally LTC(O5) or Majors (O4). You sir, are a commie pinko. Maybe you should get a haircut and a real job. I will never...

  • Soldier Son Surprises Mom

This video was taken when my son, Chris, surprised his Mom by not telling us when his mid-tour leave was starting. I figured out why his kid brother was acting strange one Saturday and had the camera ready. Later I took this video when his Mom came home from work late at night and walked in to find her "baby" standing in the living room. The next day, I was replaying the video upstairs in my office. Mom was downstairs with Chris and started complaining about the horror show Dad was watching with the volume turned way up. Chris said, "Mom,...

The Number 1 Reason to Vote Republican; My Son My son is a US Army infantryman and has been in Iraq for the last two months. He has ten months left. His 8 man squad has already had two members killed and one wounded. Democrats aid and abet the enemy. Their language and actions undermine our war effort. They place my son in greater danger. All of you people who are hesitating to vote Republican, I beg you to change your mind. My son needs a Republican Congress. Not voting or voting Demoncratic will endanger him even more. Again, I...

My son is deploying to Iraq with his Army unit for 1 year. US Army will store his motorcycle but he must drain gas tank and crankcase. His friend did this when they went to Afghanistan 2 years ago and came back to rust in his gas tank and the crankcase. He is in Hawaii so the moisture is high. Any ideas on what protective steps he can take.

I posted this on November 1:Tomorrow I and my wife will vote for George W. Bush. Tonight, I heard on the radio that an Army soldier was killed in an ambush in southeast Afghanistan. My son is stationed in southeast Afghanistan. I checked Fox news and they have an article about a US soldier killed and two wounded in a patrol near Orgun. My son is on a patrol near Orgun. I do not care if it is him, tomorrow we will still vote for Bush. God bless America and God bless President Bush.I have not told my wife. She...
