As a Border Patrol Agent I will not enforce, implement or support in any way an executive order that attempts to give amnesty to illegal aliens.

February 8, 2012 – The Obama administration took its next step towards amnesty for illegal aliens by naming an advocate for illegal aliens and those concerned about immigration issues. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said the advocate will "serve as a point of contact for individuals, including those in immigration proceedings, NGOs and other community and advocacy groups, who have concerns, questions, recommendations or other issues they would like to raise." The agency said Andrew Lorenz-Strait will be the first advocate. They may as well title Lorenz-Strait the “Amnesty Czar” as that will be the ultimate goal of an administration...

"Boots on the ground", UAV’s, virtual fences, “troops on the border” or “securing the border first", like “comprehensive immigration reform” are all just euphemisms for amnesty. If a politician or presidential candidate is serious about securing our border and reducing illegal immigration they should be talking about zero tolerance for illegal immigration. There shouldn’t be any public or private funding of illegal aliens, this includes scholarships. Illegal aliens should be prohibited from attending public school. They should not be given birthright citizenship. There shouldn’t be any sanctuary cities or communities and there should never every be any kind of path...

11-24-11 While Border Patrol agents spend hours and hours taking sensitivity training and being made into mini-environmentalists, illegal aliens continue to burn thousands of acres and trash huge swaths of public and private lands. Border Patrol agents have known this for many years. We know this is shocking, but they don't care about our land, our environment, our "cultural" preservation, or our laws. And why should they? While the Obama Administration and some Republican candidates like Newt Gingrich pander to them and encourage them to keep violating our immigration laws with promises of amnesty, why should they respect any of...

The National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) has made substantial progress challenging the disingenuous and inequitable Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Pay Reform proposal since it was first proposed by CBP. The NBPC continues to meet with Congressional leaders and representatives to speak in opposition to the proposal and point out the many inconsistencies and flaws with the proposal. The NBPC expressed concern regarding the proposal which only targets Border Patrol agents for a significant salary reduction by eliminating coverage under Administratively Uncontrollable Overtime (AUO), exempting agents from coverage under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), converting agents to Law Enforcement...

The FBI is investigating the exchange of gunfire between U.S. Border Patrol agents and suspected drug smugglers across the Rio Grande, officials confirmed Monday. The shootout occurred around 7 a.m. Monday just south of the small western Hidalgo County community of Abram. Local Border Patrol spokesman Dan Doty Action 4 News that agents were watching suspected drug traffickers attempting to cross a load of narcotics when they came under fire. The agents returned fire and the shootout lasted for about two minutes. No one on the American side was injured but it was unclear if anyone on the Mexican side...

We are saddened to report that it appears as if a Border Patrol agent may have been intentionally poisoned with a pesticide. We are not going to elaborate because there is an ongoing investigation. The agent has a family to support, and they are facing an extremely tough time ahead. He has been incapacitated by the toxins in his body, and is not expected to fully recover. We hope and pray that he can make a miraculous recovery. Note to agents: Please be careful where you eat when you are on duty. As you know, there are plenty of sick...

The ad begins: “You value freedom, but you know there is a price.” Odds are whoever penned that recruiting plug for the U.S. Border Patrol wasn’t aiming for irony. But irony was achieved, nonetheless–considering that the agency is bleeding agents who won’t pay the price of long hours working in hot, remote locations, for less money than employees of other federal agencies make. Not that the Border Patrol doesn’t have its charms. Enviable federal benefits is one. Job security is another: With a presidential mandate to add nearly 6,000 new agents by the end of 2008–reaching a total of 18,000...

Don't be put off that this is a home video. It's hard to believe this much patriotism still exists in the youth despite all the liberal indoctrination in our schools. These kids went through a lot of effort to honor SEAL team 10.

CALEXICO — Demonstrators participating in a weeklong anti-border protest that ended in violence over the weekend called the U.S. Border Patrol’s response “excessive” Monday. A No Borders Camp demonstrator suspected of pushing an agent was detained Sunday evening, setting off a forceful response from Border Patrol agents near the border fence just east of the downtown Calexico Port of Entry. Two more protesters were arrested for assaulting federal agents and there was no reported injuries, Border Patrol public information agent Quinn Palmer said Monday. Around 5 p.m. Sunday, after the demonstrator was detained, agents deployed pepper-spray balls to disperse the...

A hearing on this matter was held on August 6, 2007 at a JP courthouse in Bisbee, Arizona. Several things have been reinforced: (1) The Mexican Consulate is the engine behind this ridiculous prosecution. They take great pride in destroying the careers and lives of Border Patrol agents. They have an agenda (open borders and zero immigration enforcement), and they bully our weak American government counterparts into doing their bidding. It’s sickening. (2) The alleged victim in this case was a gang-banger. He was wearing gloves when he threatened Agent Corbett with a rock. The Cochise County Sheriff’s Department did...

I just viewed the video of the BP shooting at the link posted by Ladycalif. It was edited in an obvious attempt to portray it as a bad shooting. The text portion put in by the Tribune stated the rock thrower was an illegal immigrant. He wasn't an immigrant. He was a smuggler. The agent attempted to apprehend the criminal when he tried to leave the canal. He fought with the agent and then ran towards the marked unit. Somewhere in between the canal and the truck he picked up a rock. This was edited out. At one point the...

CALEXICO - U.S. Border Patrol officials confirmed Tuesday the man who was shot near the Mexican border on the west side of Calexico died at El Centro Regional Medical Center, where he was transferred after the incident. The man, whose identity and legal status in the United States has yet to be determined, was shot once with an M-4 assault rifle, which is a condensed version of an M-16, Border Patrol Agent David Kim said. An M-4 is one of three standard-issue service weapons provided to agents by the Border Patrol. Kim said agents saw the man, along with a...

CALEXICO — A U.S. Border Patrol agent fired once at a group of suspected smugglers as the group reportedly attempted to assault another agent along the New River, officials said today. No one was wounded in the shooting, Border Patrol said. One Border Patrol agent suffered an injured knee when he fell while trying to back away from the smugglers who were throwing rocks and running at the agent, officials said. The case occurred about 5 p.m. Friday near the old Vons facility in the western portion of Calexico. Supervisory Border Patrol Agent Lloyd Frers said two agents were working...

U.S. Customs and Border Protection Border Patrol agents said apprehensions of illegal immigrants have been on a decline in the El Centro Sector compared to last year due to an increase in Border Patrol specialty units. Border Patrol senior agents and public information officers Lloyd Frers and Enrique Lozano said they keep detailed records of all apprehensions through their fiscal year, which begins in October. Frers said the numbers should be accurate because the fiscal year is coming to an end. Frers added in fiscal 2004 apprehensions were at 72,000 by the end of September. "This year we have 51,000...

I am not against the border hunters (Minutemen, Friends of the Border Patrol, etc.) because they are white. That would be foolish. The reason I oppose these groups is many of their members are full of hate, paranoid and trigger-happy. In Campo, these border hunters yelled at American-born decorated military heroes: "Pigs, go home across the fence." In the Campo area, three unarmed immigrants have been shot since the border hunters showed up. Luckily, two are still alive to help with the investigation. Two of the border hunters are suspects in the case. What these border hunters do is to...

GREY'S VALLEY WELL — Spanish-speaking men in a black sport utility vehicle attacked two San Diego residents camping near the Plank Road Monument here Sunday evening, a stretch of the east county desert south of the Grey's Well Interstate 8 off-ramp. The men in the SUV reportedly shot at the man and woman after the couple scrambled into their trailer for safety. After trying to bash the trailer open by ramming it with the front of the SUV, the men drove off. The woman, who asked not to be identified, said Monday that the attack was just one of a...
