I advise you do nothing until you have thought it out very carefully. First off, there is no way to prove where the photo’s came from without very involved data forensics effort. Next, that neighbor could cause serious legal problems for your in-laws - it may sound crazy, but they could go after them for false accusation, etc.

On an open wireless network, literally anyone could have put the photos there. It would be very hard to prove where they came from, if not impossible. Even if some faces are recognized, that is not enough to say they did it - not legally.

It is against the law to access someone’s network without permission, but if the network is open, then this becomes a gray area.

As a network security professional, I strongly advise you seek legal advice before doing anything else. Find a lawyer who specializes in digital and data areas. The photos sound horrible, and I would be inclined to call the cops too, but be careful and move only after consulting legal advice. Also, disconnect the affected computer from the network and do not use the computer until deciding what to do.

The cops could think it’s your porn and you’re just trying to get the neighbors in trouble. After all who’s computer is it on?

    Be careful.

With a Democrat Congress and Senate, it will take Hillary or Obama less than two years to permanently alter the calculus of this country.

Rush also knows that we do not win by losing.

You're probably right. So why didn't the reverse happen in November 2000 when Republicans won total control? I can tell you why...because of RINOS, with McCain leading the pack.

It's no longer about winning or losing, it's about principles and believing in them. McCain will not receive my vote. Ever.

He has no credibility. His lies have been too numerous, blatant, and vicious. His behavior and his appearance hint at signs of dementia, steroid use, and/or sociopathic personality.

Agreed, I will never vote for this scoundrel. No.

And to those who say that not voting for McCain is handing the POTUS to Hitlary, then so be it. The Republican party has been hijacked by socialist moles, and we let it happen.

And rather than filing a complaint with the federal government, Orian is taking both Munger and J&A to court.

We're talking about Kaal-eee-forn-e-ah here. The court will most likely throw the case out before a single hearing, citing lack of jurisdiction or some other silly loophole excuse.

The Bush Administration's failure to vigorously pursue this case further deflates conservative support. If Bush simply enforced the laws, against Berger, against illegals, he might give us reason to like him. He gives us nothing, save for a war which he regrets starting in the first place.

My thoughts exactly. I see all the leftist media hoopla about how Libby is being figuratively drawn and quartered for a memory lapse, all while Berger has his wrists slapped. Add that to the total NON-action of the Justice Department regarding all the classified leaks, to the same leftist media and the Federal Government ignoring the invasion from our southern border -- I have lost hope for our country.

My father, God rest his soul, fought in WWII, and my brother, may God also rest his soul, during Vietnam - must be having seizures in their graves as they watch our own leaders blindly substitute media propaganda for the people's will, and madly force the nation off the edge of the cliff.

I voted for Bush going all the way back to his Texas Governor days. I am beginning to think W sold his soul in exchange for his second term, and is operating as he is now, and has been since January 2005, because his will is no longer his own.

But back to reality, we all really need to ask what happened? Why did (nearly) all of our representatives in Washington, including Mr. Bush, decide to abandon us and join the left?

Our pipes aren't buried 6' down in the ground... When the temperature stays in the teens for many hours we starting have "issues"...

Just like here in south Texas. When the temps are predicted to go low (as they are beginning Sunday night, with lows in the mid-20's by mid-week), advisories are issued to open a spigot and let the water slowly drip, to prevent freeze-up. Can't you guys do that also?

If every one went out of their way to do some thing like this, the Messiah would already be here among us.

    An excellent point!

I wonder how many law suits are filed against the good samaritan for their selfless acts - because they infringed on some "right" the person with a death wish has.

every day for the last week or two, there has been a bit of news that makes me think that there are new ROE's or Phoenix rising......

I hope you're correct in your observation. It's high time that Bush turn his general's loose to take care of this problem, instead of letting the whiney crybabies in Congress (on both sides of the aisle) dictate our strategy. You would think that this lesson was learned in Vietnam.

It's time for more ax control laws to deal with this problem of axes going around killing people.

If you say we are winning, it is easy to be complacent. When you get the attitude we ar elosing, it usually helps justify more extreme action.

I sure hope you are right. An all-out offensive is badly needed before Iran takes over Iraq, as it is doing in Lebanon. I hope this guy has the balls to do it.

I think the Pope doing this is a big mistake. The muzzies will see this as Christianity bowing down to them, since muzzies consider the Pope the leader of Christianity (although he is the leader of the Catholic Church), much like Christians see the grand poobah ayatollah as the leader of the muzzie maniacs. Or did I miss the big news story about the grand poobah ayatollah praying in the Vatican?

Citizens will have to wait in line, but the illegals won't.

Exactly. Compare this to so-called "gun" laws. Law abiding citizens once again are penalized, while those who acquire the documents [one can easily substitute the word documents for guns] illegally are unaffected. I don't see where this will make it harder for illegals to get documentation; it only makes it harder to legally get documentation.

I held my nose, once again, and voted for all the RINOs offered me. It didn't work.

    Never again.

    Never again, Good for you!

I didn't hold my nose and vote for the stinking RINOs, I voted for each candidate on their own merit. While I did not vote for any RATs, I did vote for some Libertarians - and to those who will say I threw away my vote on the Libertarians, I say no, I voted for the best candidate. Like it SHOULD be. And I don't feel like a cheap whore after voting either.

If voting straight party line gets us people like Chaffe, DeWine, Graham, Warner, Collins, and McStain, what good is it? I'd rather be in the minority with true conservatives in Congress, than have a RINO paralyzed majority that is spineless and totally useless. When the Republican party decides to return to its ideals, then perhaps it will be time to re-think voting straight party, but not until then.

Texas will re-elect Rick Perry, and Texas will continue to get better and better.

The choices for governor on the ballot this year are all horrible, IMHO. I will not vote for Perry because he favors more toll roads that already hit me in the pocket every time I drive to work. His current ads touting him as tough on the border are a joke. He did nothing about the border until he saw it was going to be a political issue. And I am against his privatizing the corridor as well. However, he has been great for business here - a positive for him. I wish we had a real conservative to vote for, but Perry is probably the closest. This year, I'll abstain in the governor section of the ballot.
