I mostly read, but not comment, and I wasn’t signed up in 2004, but I did read it. I remember someone’s comment, that it was actually reasonable that proportionally spaced fonts could have been used in a 1972 typewriter. That IBM made such typewriters, and the same technology found its way into circa 2004 Word. Also, that it would not be unusual for a high ranking officer to have had some extra money in the budget to spend and buy something extravagant, like a high end IBM typewriter.

  • VANITY: Help! What to tell Obama sycophants who tout that he had "75 straight quarters of growth"?

You should be able to answer questions like these, not only to swing voters, but also some leftists change their minds over time. The 2016 election could not have been won by Trump without the votes of some who voted for Obama previously.

The recovery from the recession started in June 2009. It was the slowest in modern history. Usually the US economy had a sharp downturn followed by a sharp recovery and then real growth. During Obama’s terms there was steady, but very slow recovery.

To answer the usual follow-up statement that the great economy under Trump is just the result of Obama’s policies, all of the mainstream economists before Trump’s election were predicting lower economic growth rates than what happened. Their predictions, and the reality sharply increased with Trump. What Obama said couldn’t happen unless Trump had a magic wand, actually happened. The mechanism is reducing regulation, taxes, and increasing confidence, which leads to investment.

The 21st Amendment did more than repeal prohibition, it prohibited violating state laws on alcohol. State’s have much more leeway in setting alcohol laws.

The 2nd Amendment would seem to be violated by preventing people of militia age from purchasing militia weapons.
The 14th Amendment would seem to make the 2nd Amendment something that the state’s must uphold.

Most places are not 100% for either side. CT as a whole was 40.9% for Trump, Wilton CT was 36.4% for Trump. However, voting percentage doesn’t always equal the percent willing to speak publicly politically.

You could also pick a different Linux distribution. The leader of Linux Mint, Clement Lefebvre, said in 2009, that he doesn’t want your money if you support Israel. I’d oblige. If you do keep Mint, you can avoid sending him money by not using the default search engine, or default music downloader. I’m not sure what other ways of using Linux Mint send money to it.

Here are 2 links about his statements in 2009:

  • Debunking the claim that “Palestinians” are the indigenous people of Israel

This claim that Jewish Eastern European ancestry is not from Israel, is false, and has been used by those opposed to the existence of Israel.

Previous to DNA information, the movement and ancestry of the Ashkenazi (Eastern European Jewish people) have been well known. Transiting from Italy, concentrating in the upper Rhineland, at the time when Charlemagne invited them around 800. They grew in number there, and spoke a language partially Hebrew and partially German called Yiddish. They wrote that language in the Hebrew alphabet.

At the time of the first Crusade in 1095 there were massacres and expulsions against Jews in the Rhineland area. At the same time the large Lithuanian Empire, later the combined Polish Lithuanian nation, wanted Jewish immigration. The Ashkenazi people moved in mass from Germany and France to what would later become the Baltics, Poland, Ukraine, Belorus, Moldava, and other nearby areas.

The Khazars, whose nobility converted to Judiasm in the 900’s, were never converted in large numbers, and were not an existing Jewish nationality by the time that Jews moved to that region in the 1100’s. People who try to deny a Jewish connection to Israel often bring up the Khazars.

DNA analysis shows not only Jewish ancestry by Ashkenazim, but also for those who are Cohens (paternally descended from Moses’s brother Aaron), a unique marker.

Ashkenazi Jewish traditions, and ancient Rabbis often quoted, show the places as well. Moving between the places described above.

Furthermore, half of the Israeli Jewish population is Sephardic, who lived in areas from Spain to Iran, and maintained their religion through many centuries of Islamic rule. They were all forced to leave their homes after Israel was created. They didn’t become refugees, demanding to recover their homes in Arab lands. Instead they helped build a new nation in Israel.

  • We may never know how many illegal immigrants vote

The issue is not only illegals. It is also legal aliens, non-living persons, people voting in more than one State, people voting more than once in one State, and impersonators of legitimate voters.

Some of those require Federal information or information shared between States. Who is a citizen? Who is registered in another State. What biometric information or simply a photograph can be compared to the voter who presents an ID? Is that ID valid?
