Smalltowns asked me to come up to Stuart to get some photos, and today I made it up for the last scheduled "Support Our Troops" Rally. From the sign, it does appear to be the last one for the current conflict. If another conflict ensues, I feel certain that the patriots of Stuart will once again rise to the occasion. The crowd was lining the guard rail up the side of the Roosevelt Bridge on US 1. Between Free Republic, the First Baptist Church of Stuart, and patriotic citizens, a good number of patriots were on hand. I was told...

Tho it was not our regular opponents, we were greeted by 13 protestors tonight. I'm still not sure what they were protesting. "Resist Plutocracy" ..... what? "Oust Bush in 2004." Maybe they are like us and don't know what else to do on a very nice Friday evening. The Peace Fresno group appears to have given up for awhile. Those on the opposite corner seem to be a few Bush Haters who joined the Peacenics. It will be interesting to see how long they continue their agenda. Hey ..... they left a half hour early tonight. Wounded Soldier Attends Fountain Square Rally. Local man, Michael Varner, who suffered gun and shrapnel wounds during the battle at Nasiriyah. spoke at rally today , April 25th at Cincinnati . He said he was ready and willing to go back to Middle East if needed.
