A Florida college student was suspended after he challenged a Muslim professor who claimed that Jesus’ crucifixion at Calvary was a hoax. Marshall Polston, 20, was suspended March 24 by Rollins College in Winter Park after an argument with his Middle Eastern Humanities professor over the historical validity of Jesus’ death, a failing grade, and a Muslim’s student’s allegedly violent rhetoric during a discussion on Sharia Law. The professor, Areej Zufari, claimed he was harassed, although video surveillance obtained by a local paper suggests otherwise.

Los Angeles parents are outraged after their middle school announced budget cuts because there are too many white students, according to Sunday reports. Walter Reed Middle School announced there would be layoffs and larger classes because the school’s white student body is too big, reports ABC 7. The Los Angeles Unified School District gives schools money only if white students make up no more than thirty percent of the student population. Orange Coast College has given its top award for instructors this year to Olga Perez-Stable Cox, the professor caught on camera calling Donald Trump’s election “an act of terrorism” during her human sexuality course in December. The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) now has a “White Person’s Accountability Group” to help white people understand their “roles both in perpetuating systemic racism and in dismantling it.” According to a copy of the group’s mission statement, it was formed in reaction to the notorious “White Privilege Conference,” during which “a mixed-race group of MIT community members” realized “how different their experience had been in the WPC [White Privilege Conference] space and that there was a lot they could do with other white people to dismantle internal and structural racism.”

At Middlebury College last week, Charles Murray needed a safe space — literally.
