Former state Sen. Joseph “Jim” Marzilli pleaded guilty today to accosting four women while on state business in Lowell in a bizarre sex-crazed spree that destroyed his career. One of the Arlington Democrat’s victims was handicapped, police have said. Lowell Superior Court Judge Paul Chernoff is expected to sentence Marzilli within the hour. In addition to four counts of accosting and annoying a person of the opposite sex, Marzilli also pleaded guilty to resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
