Fri November 14, 2003 04:45 PM ET BAGHDAD (Reuters) - A U.S. soldier was killed and two were wounded in an attack on their convoy near central Baghdad on Friday, the U.S. military said. Central Command said in a statement the convoy carrying soldiers of the First Armored Division was struck by a roadside bomb early on Friday morning. The soldier was evacuated to a military hospital but died of his wounds on Friday evening.
