New York will soon require most new buildings to be fully electric, following a vote by the state Building Code Council, according to the Times Union. Beginning January 2026, gas and oil systems will be banned in newly constructed homes and low-rise buildings, with broader mandates kicking in by 2029. Supporters say the move helps cut emissions and long-term costs, but critics argue it burdens residents and stresses an already strained power grid. The law includes exceptions for buildings with permits filed before year’s end and does not apply to renovations. New York’s building sector is the state’s largest emissions...

I ride the commuter train from a law firm in Chicago to a tiny redneck town on the Wisconsin state line. Friday night, the train got stopped in the middle of the woods for an emergency. A pedestrian had been hit by a car, right on the grade crossing. The police wouldn’t let the train proceed until they cleared their crime scene. So naturally, I was telling jokes to all the yuppies in my car. A left-wing 20-year-old Disney princess, with a blue buzz cut, neck tattoos, and a double chin, screamed that I was a racist-sexist-xenophobe-homophobe-Republican-Trump-cult Nazi. That was...

The U.S. Agency for International Development, U.S. State Department and other federal agencies under the Biden administration failed to prevent nonprofits from using more than $900 million in taxpayer funds to oppose Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and to support terror groups, according to the House Judiciary Committee. On Thursday, the committee released a memo based on 380 documents it received in a probe of six nonprofits: Blue White Future, Movement for Quality Government in Israel, PEF Israel Endowment Funds, Jewish Communal Fund, Middle East Peace Dialogue Network and Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors. According to the House panel, PEF Israel Endowment...

Eva Chipiuk, a lawyer known for her involvement in the Freedom Convoy and vocal criticism of Canadian institutions, has been blindsided after the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) terminated its banking relationship with her, citing risk-related concerns. According to an official letter the banking institution sent to Chipiuk, her “recent activity was outside of RBC’s client risk appetite,” and it would “no longer be in a position to continue serving her.” The bank has given her until August 18, 2025, to find an alternative financial institution. Chipiuk says the move came after a flagged transaction involving a bitcoin purchase. “The...

Something big is happening up in Minneapolis, folks. There’s this fellow, Omar Fateh, who’s looking to become the next mayor. Now, he’s not your regular candidate. He’s a Somali American who calls himself a democratic socialist, and he’s got some unusual plans for the city. Fateh wants Minneapolis to resist Donald Trump and become a “safe haven” for transgender surgeries. He’s got ideas like cracking down on police and making sure the city stays a sanctuary for illegal immigrants and things like abortions and transgender healthcare. And he’s planning to spend a lot of taxpayer money to do it. This...

In New York State, Jews have the highest favorable opinion of President Trump. Jews support Trump more than any other religious group, more than Catholics and Protestants, upstate voters, and more than white voters in general. Jews are the only identity group in the state with whom Trump isn’t underwater even at the same time as Sen. Schumer polls worse among Jews than among Catholics or Protestants.

The Trump administration has won unprecedented concessions from Columbia University in a sweeping settlement — with the Ivy League school paying more than $220 million and pledging to reverse racially discriminatory practices and resolve civil rights violations against Jewish students and workers, The Post can exclusively reveal. The settlement, under which Columbia will agree to submit to independent monitoring to ensure it is complying with merit-based hiring and admissions requirements, is likely to put pressure on other schools — like Harvard University— that have crossed the White House over tolerance of extreme Jew-hatred on campus since the Oct. 7, 2023,...

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has announced a review into how officers will be promoted and selected for command that will be led by former Marine Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller, who was punished after he criticized senior military leaders for the Afghanistan withdrawal. “America’s sons and daughters who serve in our military deserve the best leaders commanding them, which is why we need to reform the promotion system at DoD — how we get those leaders,” Hegseth announced on Sunday in a video in which he appeared with Scheller. Hegseth said he has asked Scheller — whom he referred to as...

🇺🇸Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem 🇮🇱(7/27/25)[Prayer]Water, Rivers, and Streams in the BiblePsalm 107:23-3223 Those who go down to the sea in ships, Who do business on great waters;24 They have seen the works of the LORD, And His wonders in the deep. 25 For He spoke and raised up a stormy wind, Which lifted up the waves of the sea. 26 They rose up to the heavens, they went down to the depths; Their soul melted away in their misery. 27 They reeled and staggered like a drunken man, And were at their wits’ end. 28 Then they cried...

The Zohran Mamdani campaign has some of the earmarks of a foreign influence operation. Freedom Center Investigates covered Neville Roy Singham before he became a household name as the new even more radical Soros and his growing role in backing pro-Hamas riots in New York. "The People's Forum is funded by Neville Roy Singham, a Maoist millionaire living in Communist China, whose Shanghai office faces 'a red banner that reads, in Chinese, 'Always Follow the Party.' Resting on a shelf is a plate depicting Xi.' "Singham has rapidly become the Soros of the Communist, Leninist and Maoist forces in America...

We’re mad as hell and we aren’t going to take it anymore! That’s just the way it is. America is fed up. Every election cycle, Republican candidates tell us that, in my wife’s expression, they will “Do wonders and poop cucumbers.” And as soon as the polls close, all those promises go away. The latest examples of this are the “Republican” senators who demanded that some foreign aid money be left on the table in Donald Trump’s tiny $9.4 billion rescission package. The fact that that amount of money is a rounding error in the federal budget angers the rest...

The U.S. made a massive strategic mistake by choosing the sleek F-35 over the “ugly” but brilliant Boeing X-32 in the Joint Strike Fighter competition. While unconventional in appearance, the X-32 was designed for simplicity, affordability, and manufacturing efficiency—qualities better suited for a long-term great power conflict.

Is there something about liberal elite networks, you should understand? snip Because I spent decades in the same elite liberal circles that sheltered Epstein, I am not puzzled. I think I understand the matrix of this situation. snip I also believe that there are make-or-break tech bro Trump supporters on the list, because of a moving interview given by Eric Weinstein on July 14, 2025— interestingly, in the midst of the Bondi furor — to Steven Bartlett, on the “Diary of a CEO” podcast. snip Indeed, Harvard was an avid matchmaker for Epstein among the scientific and mathematics community. Harvard...

The Democrats asked for transparency and they’re going to get it good and hard. The great Satchel Paige once said, “Don’t look back -- something may be gaining on you.” Well, I think for Barack Obama and his cohort, something is gaining on them, and so, too, I believe it is happening now for those who engaged with Jeffrey Epstein in his illicit activities. Stuff kept hidden by the wrongdoers in the Obama and Biden administrations is coming to light, and you can expect they will amp up their deflection and distraction moves to keep the focus off what they...

President Donald Trump’s approval rating remains underwater. But Democrats are faring worse, according to a new poll from The Wall Street Journal released Saturday. The new survey, conducted by Democratic pollster John Anzalone and Republican pollster Tony Fabrizio, found Democrats’ popularity at its lowest point in three decades of WSJ polling, with 63 percent of voters holding an unfavorable view of the party. Only 33 percent of voters hold a favorable view of Democrats, with a meager 8 percent holding a “very favorable” opinion, for a net negative favorability of 30 percentage points. While voters still have significant concerns over...
