Wanna bet? On Good Morning America today, Robin Robert said that when she asked the lawyer for the two men arrested at a Philadelphia Starbucks whether they were planning to sue Starbucks or the City of Philadelphia, he replied: “That’s not what they’re thinking about at this time. That they want to be a part of the process. Remember Kevin Johnson, the CEO, said that they wanted those gentlemen to be part of the process. They say they’re still working that out.” But here was the real tell: “They’re going to allow us, GMA, to follow along and follow up...

As Twitchy told you, Fresno State president Joseph Castro issued a statement last night regarding the disgusting tweets about Barbara Bush by "tenured professor" Randa Jarrar... For a lot of people, Castro's statement left quite a bit to be desired. Namely any indication that Jarrar would face any sort of consequences for her revolting mudslinging. Actor and comedian Jay Mohr was among those who were unimpressed with Castro's response... [Jay Mohr] I'm a comedian, huge free speech advocate. Randa Jarrar should be fired 4 her sheer arrogance. A garbage person that cannot possibly be shielded through your terrible +weak PC...

Proverb 19 (NKJV) The Fear of the Lord Leads to Life 01 Better is the poor who walks in his integrity 00 Than one who is perverse in his lips, and is a fool. 02 Also it is not good for a soul to be without knowledge, 00 And he sins who hastens with his feet. 03 The foolishness of a man twists his way, 00 And his heart frets against the LORD. 04 Wealth makes many friends, 00 But the poor is separated from his friend. 05 A false witness will not go unpunished, 00 And he who...

Nikki Haley is a killer. Not a murderer, but a “killer” in the Donald Trump sense of the word. She is tough and motivated with a “take no prisoners” mindset. Trump has used the term to describe extraordinary women in business since the 1980s. Since she assumed the role as the ambassador to the United Nations, Haley has been putting the world on notice that she means business, going head to head with Russia, Iran, Syria and North Korea for starters. She’s dressed down representatives from countries that would never allow a woman to freely criticize men and she’s shrewdly...

PHOENIX (AP) — It's still unclear what caused the death of a Phoenix police dog sent into a home to force the surrender of suspect who was the subject of a pursuit. Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton says Bane, a 3-year-old Belgian Malinois, "died protecting his fellow officers and our city."

PITTSBURGH - A man was stabbed early Thursday morning while at a bar in Pittsburgh’s Bloomfield neighborhood, investigators said. The man did not seek medical attention and stayed in the bar for about 30 minutes after he was stabbed before going to the residential area, police said.

The media’s pearls were clutched with both hands this week when it was revealed that Fox News host Sean Hannity was “client #3” for Michael Cohen, one of President Trump’s personal attorneys. “Journalists” were outraged that Hannity had defended Cohen on his radio and TV shows without disclosing this, slamming Fox News in the process. Which is really the only reason they reported the story in the first place. According to Hannity, his professional relationship with Cohen was extremely limited. “I never paid Michael Cohen for legal fees. I did have occasional brief conversations with Michael Cohen, he’s a great...

Animal species with males who compete intensively for mates might be more resilient to the effects of climate change, according to research by Queen Mary University of London. Moths exposed to increasing temperatures were found to produce more eggs and have better offspring survival when the population had more males competing for mating opportunities (three males for every female). The study, published in the journal Proceedings of the Royal Society B, suggests that sexual selection can provide a buffer against climate change and increase adaptation rates within a changing environment. This could improve understanding of how changing environments might affect...

HEADHUNTER Josh Harrison made headlines after he branded unemployed young people “lazy little s***s” online — but he’s standing by his controversial comments. Mr Harrison, a headhunter from UK firm Harrison Allwood, made the comments in response to a LinkedIn post penned by entrepreneur Jack Parsons earlier this month. Mr Parsons, 24, had shared his own story of unemployment and rejection, and said the UK’s job market was “broken” for young people. But Mr Harrison, who is a millennial himself, responded by “calling bulls***” on Mr Parsons’ “poor us attitude”. “I’ll tell you right now that it has never been...

Last Thursday, an employee at a Philadelphia Starbucks called the police on two black men who were waiting for the arrival of a business partner without having ordered anything at the counter. When police arrived, the men were arrested for trespassing. A bystander caught the encounter on video, which showed the men resigned to their fate as other white patrons protested the arrest, and the incident went viral. Starbucks is now in full-on damage-control mode, with plans to shut down its stores nationwide for an afternoon of employee unconscious bias training. Meanwhile, Philadelphia Police Commissioner Richard Ross said that the...

The following translations of Comey’s statements are offered by a professional skeptic after hearing Ex-FBI Director James Comey’s answers to George Stephanopoulis’s questions that aired on ABC last Sunday evening. You can read a transcript of the interview here: abcnews.go.com/Site/transcript-james-comeys-interview-abc-news-chief-anchor/story?id=54488723 The skeptic’s satirical translations appear in italics directly after Comey’s remarks. JAMES COMEY: I went to the Attorney General (Loretta Lynch) and said, “You and I are both going to have public events coming in the next–” I think it was a few days later. “Do you think it’s time to do what the Department of Justice policy permits, in...

New York City has gone through a lot of changes - and now people are getting a the chance to see what the Big Apple looked like more than 100 years ago. The Museum of Modern Art released surprisingly clear footage of what life was like in New York in 1911. The cameramen were sent around the world to take photos and videos of well-known places.

Was the latest round of airstrikes in Syria a one-time hit to restore deterrence and stop the future use of chemical weapons, or was it part of a slippery slope of more interventions in the Middle East? President Donald Trump was elected in part because he promised an end to optional wars, such as those in Afghanistan and Iraq, as well as the Libyan misadventure. But Trump also guaranteed an end to perceived Obama-era appeasement. Trump said he would no longer put up with false red lines in Syria, or complacence about North Korea's new generation of nuclear missiles....

On three or four occasions my cell phone number has been hijacked in someway that I have received phone calls and text messages as though it would seem from myself. Yesterday, the text message I received from myself and the image associated with the non-person who used my cellphone number to send me a text message used an image which I have saved on the cell phone. WHAT THE HECK? ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Neel Kashkari has become the Federal Reserve’s foremost skeptic of the notion that the U.S. is experiencing a severe labor shortage. Kashkari, who is the president of the Minneapolis Fed, points to the lack of significant upward pressure on wages as evidence debunking the claims that the U.S. lacks workers. The logic is pretty simple: if the supply of labor is so limited relative to demand, the price of labor should be swiftly rising. The fact that the price of labor is not rising much suggests that perhaps labor is not in as short supply as some employers and special...

I came across Komatsu Ltd from his custom Multicam samurai armor (shown above). While looking for more information about the custom Cordura armor, I discovered a treasure of stuff. Komatsu had documented some of the build of this custom sewn armor along with an amazing body of work in wooden gun replicas. We have seen wooden replica guns in the past. Splinter Sell made some HK guns and FN SCARs. Then there is AK47 shooter and his giant AK made of pallet wood. Take a look at this FN SCAR MK20 in the photos below. That isn't an airsoft gun....

You know all that insufferable babbling and crying about “principles†we had to endure from you Never Trump Konservative Ken Dolls? Your rending of your cheap suits, your 180s over classic GOP policies because The Donald actually tried to enact them, and your mortifying blubbering to suddenly sympathetic hosts on MSNBC and CNN about how awful our President is? With your sad, drawn faces and high-pitched voices, you True Conservatives of Conservatism™, you Keepers of the Flame of Conservativeness resisted the coming of Donald Trump (and those who supported him) because…because… Because that’s not who we are… Because we’re better than that… Because…our...

Good news, ‘Caddyshack’ lovers: Actor Bill Murray and his brothers recently opened a restaurant that’s themed after the 1980 hit film. The Murray brothers -- Bill, Joel, Johnny, Ed, Andy and Brian -- officially opened the restaurant on Tuesday, which is located in the Crowne Plaza Hotel on River Road in Rosemont, according to WGN. The restaurant's motto? “Eat, Drink and be Murray.” "The fact that it is called Caddyshack means it has something to do with golf," the actor said at a press conference at the restaurant's unveiling, according to the Chicago Tribune. “That feeling of casual fun, I...

What makes the mayor of highly polluted, crime-ridden, poorly run Los Angeles think he should run the country? With no clear frontrunner, it’s open season among Democrats for 2020. Every day there’s a new contender throwing their hat into the ring (or any other article of clothing that self-identifies as a hat). Stretching to find a candidate is symptomatic of the Democrats’ losses under President Obama: Governors make great presidential nominees, but the Democrats have so few governors left to choose from they have to get creative. So a position that’s getting unusual attention is that of mayor. Last week...
