Holy God,
Your Name is HOPE. Your Name is TRUTH. Your Name is LOVE. Your Name is COMFORTER. As we look back over this past week, we long for all of You. We need You, Lord, We need You every hour and minute during these trying times. We need our Lord who HEALS broken hearts. We need our Lord who knits us back together whenever we have nothing to hang onto except the beautiful promise of eternity with You. There is no other name like the Name of Jesus, for You have given Your Son a Name which is above every name. And one day, Father, every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, all to Your glory, Father God. How blessed we are to know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for our sakes He became poor, that we through His poverty might be rich. (Philippians 2:9-11) Father, we thank You for so great a love that You have shown toward us.
Our hearts are heavy for the tremendous loss of Your servant, Charlie Kirk. We know You have counted every tear shed on his behalf and in sympathy for his precious wife and children. Father, please bring beauty for ashes as we mourn the loss of this mighty man of God. May Charlie’s love for You grow in all the seeds he planted in his short life on this earth. We pray that Your righteousness would rise up throughout America as those who were touched by Charlie’s love for You choose to carry the torch that will glorify Your Son, Jesus Christ.
We confess Your divine protection this day over our President and Vice President. Lord, we pray that all those who seek our President’s ruin will one day seek You and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. We pray in agreement with Your Word that when our President and his family pass through the waters, You will be with them; and the rivers, they shall not overflow them; for when they walk through the fire, they shall not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon them. (Isaiah 43:2) May they fear not, Lord, for You are with them; and may they not be dismayed; for You are their God; therefore You will strengthen them and help them; yes, You will uphold them with the right hand of Your righteousness. (Isaiah 41:10) We confess also that You will help our military men and women to honor You in the way they live and that You will bless their families with Your peace and favor.
Father, these are indeed times of great division, unrest, and danger in our nation and throughout the world. We confess that You, Lord, are our Shield and our Buckler. Therefore, we will be anxious for nothing, as Your Word says. We pray for all the persecuted Church and ask You to hide them in the shadow of Your wings. And as we wait upon You, Lord, may we renew our strength, mounting up with wings as eagles; running, without growing weary; walking and not fainting. (Isaiah 40:31).
Be exalted, for blessed are You, Precious Lord! In the Name of Jesus Christ, our Savior we pray this prayer in agreement across this nation that You have so richly blessed. Thank You for the One who died so that we may live. Amen.

Lord, let us all be used by You as You desire for us.
Let us all be good soldiers of the Cross, as Charlie Kirk was. Let his death be the beginning of another great harvest of souls.
