Francis Prays to Some Kind of Allah, Omits Trinity and Sign of the Cross

Francis arrived in the Indonesian capital of Jakarta on September 3 to begin his 11-day swing through Asia and Oceania.

Looking fit and energetic after the 13-hour flight, he joked and laughed.

The trip is expected to be the longest and most challenging international trip of his pontificate, his 45th.

On Wednesday, Francis received an enthusiastic welcome at Jakarta's cathedral and spoke to bishops, priests and religious.

He then met with the Scholas Occurrentes movement and planted a tree. In his final "blessing", he pointed out that the students present represent different [conflicting] worldviews:

"I like to give a benediction. Benediction means to wish something well [which is only the etymological, secular explanation what the word originally means]. You come from different religions, but we have one god."

His invented closing prayer was: "God bless each one of you, bless all your desires, bless your families, bless your present, bless your future. Amen."

Francis didn't invoke the Holy Trinity, the sole source of anything good, and he didn't make the sign of the cross, the source of all blessings.

Indonesia is 87% Muslim.

“bless all your desires”. I’m Catholic Pope, I was taught that was not a good thing. Some of my desires in this life were not holy.

You come from different religions, but we have one god.”

While this is true - there is only one God - i don’t think that’s the point he was trying to make.

Watch for a rapprochement between all the State Controlled Churches and Islam. Most evangelical churches will join in this new Chrislamic adventure known as Babylon the Great (Revelation 17)

In his classic book St. Francis of Assisi: A Biography, Omer Englebert tells us that immediately after returning from his visit with the sultan, St. Francis learned that five Franciscan brothers had been martyred in Morocco. While passing through Moorish Spain they had entered a mosque and denounced the Koran. They told the local ruler, “We have come to preach faith in Jesus Christ to you, so that you will renounce Mohammed, that wicked slave of the devil, and obtain everlasting life like us.” Hearing this report, St. Francis exclaimed, “Now I can truly say that I have five Friars Minor!”

One need not be Christian to become Pope. It is only necessary to be a really good politician.

The “Roman” in Roman Catholic dates back to the days of the Caesars. Now there were some fellows who understood politics, and they played a very hard game of it. The stakes were high, and failure was usually punished by death.

I was a Catholic for most of my life. I’m pretty disgusted with what has happened to my Church. It shelters pedophiles, encourages homosexuals within its ranks, looks the other way on abortion and politicians who embrace it, ignores centuries of Church doctrine, and promotes hard-left idiocy. I no longer consider myself a Catholic.

If the Catholic church, which boasts far more members worldwide than any other Christian religion, falls to apostacy, then all the others will follow suit.

I was raised Wisconsin Synod Lutheran, which is about half a step above the Mennonites as far as being conservative. To this day women cannot vote on church matters, as far as I know.

I was never taught this out loud, but it is in the bylaws of the Wisconsin Synod that the office of the pope and whomever occupies it is considered to be the office of the Antichrist.

No offense to anyone, I’m just saying. Go to the WELS (Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod) website and you will find that information buried somewhere in the bylaws, or rules, or whatever they call it. At least it was there about 10 years ago when I got curious one day.

Maybe the WELS is not wrong? Is pope Frank going to bring down the Church of Rome, and all others with it?

Judging by what little I know of some of the decidedly UNchristian actions of some of the popes down through history, I’d say being a politician is a much more important qualification to get the office than being a godly theologian and shepherd of lost souls.

We often hear the refrain that the Church is protected because Jesus said the Gates of Hell would not prevail. I don’t see it that way. Gates are defensive. The Church must be a force and a light in the world to break down barriers. Where the Gospel is preached, truth wins.

That is why our enemies silence us. Christians are not allowed to proselytize in Islamic countries, we are the first ones eliminated in Socialist societies, and the western Left censors our speech. They don’t want their gates breached.

The only way the Church fails and the Gospel isn’t shared is simply when we fail to speak out… when we fail to share Jesus, who is Truth-personified, with the world.
