FATHER GOD,

Keep me safe, O GOD, for I have come to You for refuge. I said to the LORD, “You are my MASTER! Every good thing I have comes from You.” The godly people in the land are my true heroes! I take pleasure in them! Troubles multiply for those who chase after other gods. I will not take part in their sacrifices of blood or even speak the names of their gods.

LORD, You alone are my inheritance, my cup of blessing. You guard all that is mine. The land you have given me is a pleasant land. What a wonderful inheritance!

I will bless the LORD Who guides me; even at night my heart instructs me. I know the LORD is always with me. I will not be shaken, for He is right beside me.

No wonder my heart is glad, and I rejoice. My body rests in safety. For You will not leave my soul among the dead or allow Your HOLY ONE to rot in the grave. You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of Your presence and the pleasures of living with You forever. (Psalm 16)

LORD, as we compare the RNC and DNC Conventions, it is clear that our vote will be between good and evil. Godly candidates are our heroes while other candidates champion their sacrifices of blood. The choice is ours. We will be held accountable.

You are our stronghold, a refuge in times of trouble. As the general elections draw near, we see increased chaos and destruction. Help us keep our eyes on You. You will never leave us or forsake us. You will keep us from now throughout eternity.

Lift the veil of those who have been brainwashed by the mainstream media, deceptive politicians, and pundits. Make them aware of manipulation and outright lies – promises of prosperity and “freedom” from Your laws and edicts.

Shield returning public-school students who will be bombarded with “woke” philosophy and dummied down curriculum. May parents demand sound education for their children and their GOD given right for parental control.

Bless and protect our soldiers who are deployed at home and abroad, the police, EMTs, and firemen. Safeguard their families as well.

Bless President Trump, J.D. Vance, and their families. Give them favor, wisdom, and knowledge. Protect them from evil and give them victory! We ask the same petitions for godly candidates.

Help us not grow discouraged when answers to prayer do not come quickly or as we think they should have been answered. Bring to our remembrance that the GOD Who knows the number of our hair and the number of our days is in control of ALL things. Build our faith as we hear Your WORD.

Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see. Through their faith, the people in days of old earned a good reputation. (Hebrews 11:1-2)

You are in control. You make all things work for good for those who love You according to Your purpose for them. One day we will know why circumstances happen as they do, and we will confidently proclaim, “GOD is good all the time. All the time GOD is good.”

I pray the LORD heighten the sensitivities of every righteous leader and candidate to the Holy Spirit, to the presence of Christ, and the voice of the Father as the spiritual warfare against their peace, their souls, their loved ones intensify in the coming weeks.

I pray the LORD convict those who are in direct opposition to Him of the error of their ways, and that the spiritual forces & entities behind their plans be brought to naught in Jesus’ name. Amen.
