We can agree to disagree that it will be a physical thing as no one can ‘see’ if someone is a believer or not. How do they decide who gets this chip if they have to go by someone’s word if they’re a believer?
I believe it is a decision as to who you will worship; as for me and my house, I will worship the Lord.
The device used in the head or hand will be blatantly used to mock the bible. There will be no doubt that persons living in that time will know their choice. There will be no beating around the bush. Partakers will have no excuse.

Interesting idea, the beast was Nero. The mark of the beast not literal it’s metaphorical.

Revelation 13 lays out a chronology leading up to the forced application of the mark of the beast.

These events will take place in order:
• the Antichrist rises to power (verse 1)
• the Antichrist is healed of a deadly wound (verse 3)
• people openly worship the dragon (Satan) and the Antichrist (verse 4)
• the false prophet performs miracles on behalf of the beast, including calling fire from heaven (verse 13)
• the false prophet constructs an image of the beast and causes it to speak (verses 14–15)
• the image of the beast orders the death of anyone who will not worship it (verse 15)
• after all of the above, the false prophet orders everyone to receive the mark of the beast (verses 16–17)

Think of it as a similar scenario as the Covid-19 vaccine mandates. Thousands of people forced to take the jab against their wishes just to keep their career or job/livelihood. It’s the evil side, the Deep State side, forcing people to do what they don’t want to do... or else.
As to “how” they will decide who gets the chip/mark? That’s easy. They will mandate that everyone get it. If you don’t accept the chip/mark, you don’t get to live. Taking the chip will represent the decision to bow down to the AC and/or to Satan. Much like the vaccine mandates, you either take the chip or you don’t get to eat or make a living. Same basic tyranny, only the demon behind the mask will finally be revealed.
These people don’t know what they’re doing. Reminds me of the people who try the blasphemy challenge against the Holy Spirit. The blasphemy of the Holy Spirit was witnessing Jesus perform a miracle and attributing that power to Satan instead of the Holy Spirit
That can not be done today, as Jesus is not a physical human on earth.

They do indeed. The mark might be a computer chip. It might be sold as a DNA upgrade, to make one disease free, with long life. It might make them into hybrids, so they are eternally condemned.
If it he mark is a real thing, and god is actually warning us about it to protect us from it, this wouldn’t even be something up to all these different interpretations .
