Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord
Lord Jesus here our prayer on the day after "Independence Day".
Lord we know that our only hope is in you and not man.
We pray that you would shine the light clearly on our current situation, so that even the most deceived can see.
Lord, we have sinned, myself and the nation, including many of your people.
Forgive us, give us mercy , though we certainly have tried your patience.
Lord we have put too much confidence in man, our political system and the constant stream of information and distraction.
Lord may intercession for our nation sweep the land.
Lord, I pray that Donald Trump humble himself and be filled with Your Holy Spirit.
Lord we pray for a house cleaning in our local and national government.
Lord, may our weeping for our nation turn to joy in the morning!
