A server and her co-workers have been left shaking their heads after a series of interactions with a woman who was convinced the world was ending on April 8, 2024 — and who is now hoppin' mad and behaving in a most un-Christian fashion.
Unlike most eclipses, the one on April 8 was special for Americans because the U.S. was in the "path of totality," a roughly 100-mile-wide swath from Texas to Maine in which the Moon completely obscures the Sun and ushers in a brief period of nighttime in the middle of the day.
"A woman came to our restaurant the other day with a friend," the server wrote in her post. "She was nice.. "She tipped $300 on a $40 bill and wrote on the receipt 'in case you don't rise on the 8th,'" she wrote. "These people genuinely think they're going to rise into heaven on April 8th."
Then, the woman returned two days later and was waited on by another server. "She kept asking if he was Christian, to which he said no, and then she started talking about how awful it'll be after the Rapture… for sinners left on Earth."
"The woman tipped him $777," which she said was "the Lord's numbers" as opposed to Satan's number 666, and told him, "He'll need it after."
..Fast forward to today, and she's back again, adamant that her tips were somehow fraudulent and that we tampered with them. Her claims of fraud are literally impossible, we bring the card reader to the table, and it's the guest who decides the tip amount by either pressing a preset option or entering a custom one before hitting pay. That's exactly what she did. So, it's physically impossible for us to manipulate the tip amounts.

Pre trib isn’t biblical. Also the day and time thing. She didn’t listen to Jesus’ words so now she’s out a cool thousand lol.
what an idiot.
24 hour shopping in rapture
What benefit would the recipients have received if the donor had been right about the rapture? In the tribulation, money would have been wothless.
well, the pre-tribulation rapture isn’t Christian - it’s a modernist idea developed in the 1800s just like the Mormon philosophy or the Jehovah’s witness philosophy. And just like those two, the pre-tribulation rapture isn’t Christian either.
Seriously? I hadn’t read about that. Illegals in ny get the equivalent of $339,000 a year with all the benefits they get from the gov who is using our tax dollars to support crimi als!
She was just trying to “be nice” in a way it wouldn’t hurt her.
A fool and her money…
Once again, it didn’t happen.
A fool and her money…
EXACTLY. Old sayings are “old” because they are proven to be true time and time again.
I highly doubt they get that much. There isn’t enough money to even give that much. Is New York City in the hole financially? They’d have a big deficit if they gave that much to every illegal. There are at least 506,000 right now.
I did a calculation on my calculator and the number doesn’t exist.
Are soon parted.
For example, much of Revelation's mark of the beast level persecution of Christians is already being implemented, one could say, in most of the middle east. Look at how many nations implement the jizya tax on non-Muslims, or forbid Christians from owning businesses. That's been going on for centuries. If the rapture happened today, you could say it was post-tribulation or mid-tribulation (unless you insist that "world" in Revelation means global instead of regional, which I guess is possible, but not definitely so, given how "world" means region in other parts of the Bible).
It is even more from what I understand- so eone posted a link to an updated figure after the article about the $339,000 was posted. They are given health care which ain’t cheap, housing 8n expensive hotels, given debit cards, councelling, lawyers and a slew of other very 3xpensive “perks” at taxpayer expense. They end up getting the equivalent of that amount when everything is added up
I don’t get why this eclipse took on some kind of urgency for so many people. Maybe some are gullible due to feeling beaten up emotionally from our divided culture.
Still, it’s odd. So many eager to bow down in a rapturous state of Pagan worship. Sometimes, an eclipse is just an eclipse!
