I don’t know if he’s the antichrist, false prophet, or false messiah, but I’ve always suspected Barack Obama of being a lot more evil than most people think.

He basically came out of nowhere, where he was born is questionable, his background is questionable, in fact his entire life if full of question marks.

He screwed up the medical industry even more than it already was, legislatively he didn’t get much done in office, behind the scenes, he laid the groundwork for what we are seeing today, his radical cabinet is back and running the current POTUS, he was instrumental in getting Biden elected.

He has been openly hostile to Israel and is a Shiite Muslim, who I think is behind a lot of how the US is orchestrating potential wars all over the world.

Because of the 10 toes of Nebuchadnezzar's Dream, there is a theory that the world will be divided into 10 regions under the Antichrist's rule.

I don't know what Obama is, but he is definitely empowered by Satan. He sows confusion, lies, often smoothly. He's received with near-messianic euphemisms - some extraordinarily creepy. Now personally, I believe that the Antichrist arises from Europe. But, regarding really creepy stuff about Obama - here goes

The people who did these things are of the spirit of antichrist - ESPECIALLY the ones that attacked John 3:16 to his birth certificate - absolutely false messiah worship

Things that ought to grab the attention of any Christian who understands Bible Prophecy:

Another extraordinarily creepy moment -this is worth watching - just a few minutes

Kevin Spacey = (fake) President Frank Underwood

(fake) pResident Barack Obama ---> "Frank (Underwood) learned it from me." "Frank learned it from me".

the video is something else - if you haven't watched the video - give it the time (less than 3 minutes to watch half)

-----------------------------------

"Hello everybody. This is not Frank Underwood; this is Barack Obama.

Frank learned it from ME (Barack Obama)."

Ignore "the DaVinci Code" in the last 1/2, though. It's the first 1/2 that grabs your attention.

"(Anti-God/Anti-Christ) Frank (Underwood) learned it from me (Barack Obama)."

Obama channels antichrist HBO character

(BTW I disagree with having religious statues - but still, the underlying tone is there)

Pay for transactions with bracelet - when warm enough, bracelet casts glowing tattoo on wrist (he is left-handed I suppose)

That’s something new to hear about- an estimate that Adam was in the Garden less than 130 years.

Funny to think of Abram/Abraham as a young child when I usually think of him as a wise patriarch full of years and leaning on a staff.

It’s not a matter of being *religious*.

Becoming religious doesn’t do anything for a person.

The crux of the matter is settling accounts with God and that comes through asking for forgiveness for your sin because of the finished work of Christ on the cross.

When you do that, God WILL forgive you and give you spiritual life and the rest will happen.

The Christian life is the result of spiritual rebirth, the fruit of it, if you will, not the cause of it because nobody can be good enough to earn it.

End times prophecies can be very confusing. In part because the nations listed in the end times passages do not have the same names as the nations today do. But Syria used to be Assyria, Egypt is still Egypt, and what was at one time called Persia is modern day Iran.

Why would you even ask that?

Those are the facts we read in Scripture and history.

You do realize that Paul was a Jew. Do you think his comment made HIM a Jew hater as well?

“Why would you even ask that?”

The guy warned me against being a Jew-hater for saying God destroyed the Jewish nation in 70 A.D.

Actually, God did not ever eradicate the Jews off the face of the earth.

Yes, Jerusalem was destroyed by the Romans and the Temple was done away with, but the temple was no longer needed as Jesus had already come and the sacrifices were no longer needed.

I don’t quite see that RWC called you a Jew hater. I could see where you thought it might be implied but he may have been referring more to those who destroyed the temple.

No I didn’t directly call out “dawg” for being a Jew-Hater.

That said, his point is enough to give bait to those who believe in demonic lies like Replacement Theology.

Those are Jew Haters and they have a very unbiblical outlook on God’s Plans for Israel (separate from the Church).

There are always penalties for rebellion against The Lord.
Christians in America might be on the cusp of feeling that wrath since we’ve tolerated abortion, homosexuality, and other massive evils for decades.

We’re not exempt.

“Actually, God did not ever eradicate the Jews off the face of the earth.”

Reread my post. I did not say that or hint at that.

There were Jewish colonies in Spain, Africa, etc., even one in Rome. But the Jewish nation was gone. There were probably a few that escaped somehow.

Josepheus describes it all in horrific detail.

I re-read my response and clearly it was a bad post (sorry!) because I should have said, Adam only lived 930 years - so 1,000 years in Eden was out.

True, we don’t know how long he was there - but we do know how long he lived.

Methuselah was the oldest person to ever live as he died at 969.

“Funny to think of Abram/Abraham as a young child ...”

I never did until someone mentioned Noah still being alive when Abram was born. Then I went and plotted all the births/lifespans of the patriarchs on a stacked bar chart to get a visual of the overlap of their lives — all that’d be left would be to know whether they lived near enough to actually know each other.

One does get a grasp of how oral tradition was so successful, though.

Yeah, I can see what you meant.

As I noted to another poster, I have an Excel chart based on the genealogies in Genesis 5 and 11 that shows the lives of the patriarchs as “stacked” bars, and when you actually SEE who was still alive to see the birth of how many future generations, it shifts how you conceive of them. Did they stay in community? Did they know each other? Did Noah meet Abram at some point? He had about 60 years of opportunity.

None of these kinds of ideas ever crossed my mind until I made that chart.

That topic is fascinating to me and it’s crossed my mind to create something like it - but time just always gets away from me.

Regarding Noah, I’ve wondered the same. It would be interesting to know those facts.

I’m still trying to figure out who Melchizedek is.
Is he Shem?
Is he the Pre-Incarnate Christ?
Somebody else?

Melchizedek has got to be THE most enigmatic of all Biblical figures.

The New English Translation (which I like because of its COPIOUS footnotes) tags Melchizedek with this entry in Genesis 14:18:

“Salem is traditionally identified as the Jebusite stronghold of old Jerusalem. Accordingly, there has been much speculation about its king. Though some have identified him with the preincarnate Christ or with Noah’s son Shem, it is far more likely that Melchizedek was a Canaanite royal priest whom God used to renew the promise of the blessing to Abram, perhaps because Abram considered Melchizedek his spiritual superior. But Melchizedek remains an enigma. In a book filled with genealogical records he appears on the scene without a genealogy and then disappears from the narrative.”

Descriptions in Hebrews 7 deepen the matter:

“Without father, without mother, without genealogy, he has neither beginning of days nor end of life but is like the son of God, and he remains a priest for all time.”
— Heb. 7:3

“But Melchizedek who does not share their ancestry collected a tithe from Abraham and blessed the one who possessed the promise.”
— Heb. 7:6

The lack of shared ancestry — that couples very intriguingly with the lack of known pedigree.

I have heard ONE detailed teaching that zeroed in on the word translated “like” in Hebrews 7:3 noting that it is Greek for “similar to” NOT “the same as.” So the phrase “like the son of God” would not have been understood by Greek readers to be a claim of identity with “the son of God”; that is to say, Greeks familiar with “the son of God” as a referent to Jesus would clearly understand that the author of Hebrews was saying Melchizeidek is LIKE Jesus, not that he IS Jesus.

I think it was this one:

Whatever else she may be, Melissa Scott is a very able linguist, and her explanation in this video seems pretty solid. I hope you enjoy it as I did.
