Lord God,
Would You do us the favor of engraving this passage on our hearts? Would You remind us of this message each time we think of You? How great is our need for these truths to guide our every word, thought, and action each day of our lives. Lord, in these times of great turmoil, we invite You to be the anchor of our soul, both sure and steadfast. Just as You calmed the storms surrounding Your disciples as they crossed the raging waters, please be that place of peace and security for us as well. And never let us forget that You are in the boat with us, for You have promised to never leave us nor forsake us. Nothing can separate us from Your love. Therefore, we are not defeated; instead, we are more than conquerors through the victory won for us by Jesus Christ. And though we cannot fix the problems of this world, we can bring our cares to You and lay them at Your feet. What a blessing it is to know that You care for us, Lord.
For all who are trying to do the right thing through Your strength---the right thing for their family, for their job, for their church, for their country---may they who seek to lead godly lives be blessed and guarded from discouragement. Please give parents the courage to stand strong on what they know You want them to do. Please help our leaders to make righteous decisions on behalf of the people of this nation. And please help our church to be bold in standing for Your teachings----changing nothing in order to make it more acceptable, but speaking the truth in love.
Father, these are indeed troublesome times, but we understand that we can never be separated from Your love which is in Christ Jesus, our Lord. Blessed are You, our God, our King, our Savior, in Whose Name we pray. Amen.

Help them then to make right everything they have done that was wrong; help them to mend, restore, and rectify every evil they have perpetuated against the American people at any level!
