FATHER GOD,

It is overwhelming to witness the devastation done by Hurricane Ian in Florida and continuing in the southeast states. Communities we know as tourist destinations are wiped out, and Floridians, many of them senior citizens, lost everything in Ian’s aftermath. May this be a time for the church to shine as Christians spring into action to restore the devastation.

You have commanded us:

Do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices GOD is pleased. (Hebrews 6:10)

Share with the LORD'S people who are in need. Practice hospitality. (Romans 12:13)

And as for you, brothers and sisters, never tire of doing what is good. (2 Thessalonians 3:13)

JESUS said, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. (John 13:34).

Fill us with Your Love, give us Your empathy and compassion. Enable us to be givers, even in our scarcities. Show us how to be a light to others in these trying times through prayer, financial means, an encouraging Scripture or word, a hug, or an act of kindness. Give us Divine appointments to share the GOOD NEWS and help those in need. Remind us to do our good deeds secretly, without bragging, and to glorify You, GOD, whenever recognition comes.

The end of the world is coming soon. Therefore, be earnest and disciplined in your prayers. Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins. Cheerfully share your home with those who need a meal or a place to stay.

GOD has given each of you a gift from His great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another. Do you have the gift of speaking? Then speak as though GOD Himself were speaking through you. Do you have the gift of helping others? Do it with all the strength and energy that GOD supplies. Then everything you do will bring glory to GOD through JESUS CHRIST. All glory and power to Him forever and ever! Amen. (1 Peter 7-11)

LORD, comfort those who have lost loved ones and livelihood in this disaster. Heal the brokenhearted and the injured. May HOLY SPIRIT give hope and new beginnings to the Floridians, and all affected by Hurricane Ian. In the midst of sorrow, suffering, and great need, may a Great Awakening take place and with it a return to our Biblical foundations.

Give Governor DeSantis wisdom and the means to rebuild Florida. Strike down all attempts from the media and the opposition who desire to paint him in a bad light. May there be an overflow of generosity throughout the country to help those in need, and may You receive the Glory for the great things that will be done.

Do not allow these disasters to taint the November elections. Give us the victory, LORD, and return President Trump to his rightful seat in the Oval Office before 2024.

Protect our nation from those who attempt to escalate the Ukrainian/Russian conflict to further their personal agendas. Expose them and thwart their plans.

In JESUS’ Name we pray. AMEN.
