‘Mrs. Greene's statement about leaving the Church is as enlightening as it is saddening,’ commented Michael Hichborn, president of the Lepanto Institute.
(LifeSiteNews) – Following criticism of comments she made about the U.S. Catholic bishops, conservative firebrand U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene revealed that she was raised Catholic but left the Church “with great sorrow” when she had kids because she had concerns about the left-wing hierarchy protecting abusive priests.
“With great sorrow, and unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, I stopped attending Catholic Mass when I became a mother, because I realized that I could not trust the Church’s leadership to protect my children from pedophiles, and that they harbored monsters even in their own ranks,” the now-evangelical said in a lengthy statement.
The Georgia Republican was responding to the Catholic League’s Bill Donahue, who slammed her for suggesting in an interview with Church Militant’s Michael Voris that “Satan is controlling the Church.”
“The Church is not doing its job. And it’s not adhering to the teachings of Christ,” she added.
“It’s the Church leadership I was referring to when I invoked the Devil,” Greene clarified on Twitter. “Just so we’re clear, bishops, when I said ‘controlled by Satan,’ I wasn’t talking about the Catholic Church. I was talking about you.”
“The Catholic Church must throw out these monsters instead of lecturing the people its own bishops have driven away,” she continued, blasting the U.S. Catholic bishops as “some of the worst in the world” and “scheming bureaucrats in miters.” It was the “bishops’ wickedness” that drove her out of the Church, Greene said, and her own refusal to “submit the spiritual and physical livelihood of my children to these monsters.”
Greene, who is sometimes referred to as “MTG” (à la “AOC”), went on to say what many faithful Catholics who.......

The Rapture removal of the Body of Believers in The Christ is a real event which Jesus introduced in John 14, and Paul filled in many details for that event. It is going to happen. Count on it. Don't be here AFTER He removes His Believers who He has born from above in their spirit and to whom He has Promised to give a new body and soul for their eternally alive spirit where The Holy Spirit is abiding. Don't die in unbelief.
“Do you have a cognitive disorder that affects your short term memory?”
If me tossing BS down the memory hole is a problem, then yes. I don’t remember the stories of cartoons for the same reason: pure fantasy.
You a nurse?
Your comparison of Jesus on the cross as something to be physically eaten for empowerment, to the physical Tree of Life in the physical garden, bearing physical fruit which could cause Adam's physical body to never die is so satanic that I could almost hear the demons cackling as you posted that fraud.
That you would even entertain in your heart such a nasty comparison indicates something about the heart of Catholicism that the Holy Spirit wants exposed ... again and again. Your religion is carnal, pure carnality.
Where God gives us instruction on spiritual matters, your religion of catholiciism twists it to be carnal. Purgatory is a case in point: your mythos of purgatory is focused upon cleansing the flesh so it can go into God's Presence in Heaven, but it is the spirit that needs cleansing and the gracing of eternal life, not the flesh, not the behavior mechanism which is trained in sin.
The little comparison you posted of Jesus being physical fruit on a crucifixion tree, to be physicallty eaten, is just another satanic lie meant to confuse and capture dead souls befiore they understand their doom. Your little lie focuses upon the physical when the Cross is about the sacrifice of innocent body, behavior mechanism AND spirit so that descendants from Adam may be redeemed in SPIRIT and given a real, physical body and real soul fit to carry the eternal life now in their spirits by God's Grace glorifying His Sacrifice for our spirits renewal.
Your pretend -which you believe is reality- to eat the actual flesh, blood, soul and divinity of Jesus is a carnal focus proving your focus is not on the spiritual but on the carnal, the flesh.
And I should add that the Word of God tells us that ALL the born again, both dead and still alive, will receive that new, sinless body and soul at the Rapture removal of the Body of Christ Believers. That truth is so damning to the myths of Catholicism’s carnal focus that your religion even denies that truth given in Te Word of God, in John 14; 1Thessalonians 4, and 1 Corinthians 15.
Excellent post, as usual, MHG.
It is worrying that someone doesn’t see the difference between the physical and the spiritual … and we both know why. I was dead as could be inside before God Almighty’s Holy Spirit took up residence within. Then, for the first couple of years, I was nothing but spirit! I had to come back “down” to the flesh and learn to live in this world while being a resident of a formerly unknown world.
Were it true that people who believe they’re eating Jesus’ flesh and drinking His blood can gain them eternal physical life, then we should see them living forever in the here and now. Alas, no. That should tell them something is off.
- SAD Dude "If Ellen said it, I believe it!!!!"
Now there’s a funny one that is spot on at the same time. Thanks, AMPU!
And “SAD” is correct. I continue to hope and I pray to God that many will come out from these cults and be saved. Time is so very, very short.
All it took for me was one bend of my knees and asking, and it was a done deal ... and I knew it.
And so did everyone else around me because I couldn’t shut up about what God had done for me! Blessed be His righteous Name!
Pride in their ‘striving’ blocks the truth from entering the mind of their soul. If being born again is ONLY by God’s Grace response to their believing and putting their faith in Christ alone, well then their striving is fruitless, and their pride cannot handle that reality so they reject the faith alone in Christ alone and mumble something like ‘there is no such thing as sola scriptura’.
You just KNOW you'll Scripture for these allegations.
Good question.
So then; how would you know if EGW experienced all those things?
Bottom line is that you'll NEVER know anything unless you experience yourself.
ERGO, we are just wasting our time.
No; doubt about EVERYTHING.
Radical concept!
Not recorded but perhaps he wasn't that fast of an eater. How long had they been munching on fruit??
Ok; I am now piqued.
Where can I read about this?
——>Are you expressing doubt about the Word of God?
No, my answer was in post 571. In post 616 I was just pulling an “Elsie” on Elsie, or anyone else reading (throwing out a question to make them think).
My faith in the Word of God remains 100% strong. But, thanks for your concern.
I’ve posted links to videos. You just broke my heart that you don’t go to the videos ...
——>You a nurse?
Yes, and I’ve mentioned that many times as well. You don’t recall Metmom and her pals often dumping on me for “working” on the Sabbath?
(Critical Care and stroke certified BTW).
Jesus was never a piece of furit hanging on a fruit tree for people just to pick off. that’s just sick....
More importantly He’s risen - He’s not dead - He’s alive. So why keep invisioning him hanging anywhere when He lives....

If God doesn’t save us, we are hopeless. It’s that simple. Either HE does it or He doesn’t do it. There’s nothing, no works of any righteousness that we can put before His face and say, “See? I did this and that, so you owe me salvation.” There would still be that issue of the person being a sinner, even if they sinned only once, to deal with. No amount of works/righteousness can make it go away; it must be paid for. God is holy and righteous. One sin is enough to send us to Hell for eternity. It’s either Him saving us or we are all doomed.
WHOA!!!!!!!! Call the Whambulance for a quick triage!!
Should have read...
"My faith in the Word of God,
AS INTERPRETTED BY OUR GLORIOUS SPIRIT MEDIUM
AND PROPHETESS ELLEN WHITE, remains 100% strong.
But, thanks for your concern."
