Your post upset my spirit so much I had to go to the Lord in prayer to ask the Holy Spirit how or even if I should respond. Here is what He gave me as best I c an put it into words:

Your comparison of Jesus on the cross as something to be physically eaten for empowerment, to the physical Tree of Life in the physical garden, bearing physical fruit which could cause Adam's physical body to never die is so satanic that I could almost hear the demons cackling as you posted that fraud.

That you would even entertain in your heart such a nasty comparison indicates something about the heart of Catholicism that the Holy Spirit wants exposed ... again and again. Your religion is carnal, pure carnality.

Where God gives us instruction on spiritual matters, your religion of catholiciism twists it to be carnal. Purgatory is a case in point: your mythos of purgatory is focused upon cleansing the flesh so it can go into God's Presence in Heaven, but it is the spirit that needs cleansing and the gracing of eternal life, not the flesh, not the behavior mechanism which is trained in sin.

The little comparison you posted of Jesus being physical fruit on a crucifixion tree, to be physicallty eaten, is just another satanic lie meant to confuse and capture dead souls befiore they understand their doom. Your little lie focuses upon the physical when the Cross is about the sacrifice of innocent body, behavior mechanism AND spirit so that descendants from Adam may be redeemed in SPIRIT and given a real, physical body and real soul fit to carry the eternal life now in their spirits by God's Grace glorifying His Sacrifice for our spirits renewal.

Your pretend -which you believe is reality- to eat the actual flesh, blood, soul and divinity of Jesus is a carnal focus proving your focus is not on the spiritual but on the carnal, the flesh.

And I should add that the Word of God tells us that ALL the born again, both dead and still alive, will receive that new, sinless body and soul at the Rapture removal of the Body of Christ Believers. That truth is so damning to the myths of Catholicism’s carnal focus that your religion even denies that truth given in Te Word of God, in John 14; 1Thessalonians 4, and 1 Corinthians 15.

Excellent post, as usual, MHG.

It is worrying that someone doesn’t see the difference between the physical and the spiritual … and we both know why. I was dead as could be inside before God Almighty’s Holy Spirit took up residence within. Then, for the first couple of years, I was nothing but spirit! I had to come back “down” to the flesh and learn to live in this world while being a resident of a formerly unknown world.

Were it true that people who believe they’re eating Jesus’ flesh and drinking His blood can gain them eternal physical life, then we should see them living forever in the here and now. Alas, no. That should tell them something is off.

You've been a little busy of late...and not wanting to distract… I've delayed... so hey there....

Your comparison of Jesus on the cross as something to be physically eaten for empowerment, to the physical Tree of Life in the physical garden, bearing physical fruit which could cause Adam's physical body to never die is so satanic that I could almost hear the demons cackling as you posted that fraud.

When Jesus said he would rebuild the Temple in 3 days...
21 But he spoke of the temple of his body.

You do not understand -
It's NOT a comparison... it's typology...
Similar to how St. Paul refers to Christ as the "New Adam".... its NOT a comparative analysis....
So because God gives Adam the Tree of Life to eat from, for everlasting life...
You have we to see the parallel in John 6 where Christ himself is saying...

51 I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world....

Symbolically OR literally.... for Bible sake man... the connection is right there, inerrantly.
For what purpose then would Christ be using Bread and Wine- as reference to HIS Body?.
Demons maybe cackling.
But I can assure you it's not over the Promises Christ made of His Body.

That you would even entertain in your heart such a nasty comparison indicates something about the heart of Catholicism that the Holy Spirit wants exposed ... again and again. Your religion is carnal, pure carnality.

Well that is just an affront to God.
Is Jesus carnal then? St. Paul ? The early Church Fathers?
Where did the idea come about then that the Eucharist was consecrated into Christ's Body and Blood with the eraly Christians who confessed just that?
WHERE DID IT COME FROM?
Passover. More appropriately, The New Passover.

God has always found it important to feed his creatures, feed them physically. What was the purpose of the miracle in feeding of the 5000?
What did Christ parallel in doing that?
Yes the Manna...
Why does Jesus tell us to pray like this...
"Give us this day, our "Daily" Bread..."?
WRONG
You think that's about a DAILY- everyday need of food?
NO ! Look it up... epiousios Gk.- IS THE WORD used in that verse....
(not hemeras Gk. That is used almost 400 times in Scripture to reference day or "daily")

Epiousios has been MISTRANSLATED as "Daily" - and this SPECIAL Word that Christ asks us to pray... is only found in ONLY TWO PLACES in sacred scripture...IN The Lord's Prayer as given to us by Christ.... AND The Didache !

Now dontcha think that's a bit odd for a word like “epiousios” to ONLY appear 2 times like this if it did not have some special meaning?
It HAS to be used in a special way here…
Breaking down this Greek word – you learn it actuallys is a combo of 2 words- ”upon & essence” , or “upon & substance”....
Properly translated:

"Give us this day, our supernatural Bread".

This could be debated forever- but Luke or Matt could have used the common word for "daily" - not one that was so rare.
Either way...it ain't just "Daily" bread we are praying for.., but something more substantial....

Keeping with the feeding theme -
Christ told Peter 3 times to promise to feed his flock.

And then of course - The Word made Flesh.

ABSOLUTELY the definition of carnal. [In a non- sexual context of course.]

Purgatory will have to wait...( pun intended)

The little comparison you posted of Jesus being physical fruit on a crucifixion tree, to be physicallty eaten, is just another satanic lie meant to confuse and capture dead souls befiore they understand their doom. Your little lie focuses upon the physical when the Cross is about the sacrifice of innocent body, behavior mechanism AND spirit so that descendants from Adam may be redeemed in SPIRIT and given a real, physical body and real soul fit to carry the eternal life now in their spirits by God's Grace glorifying His Sacrifice for our spirits renewal.

Again, was not comparing Jesus as a piece of Fruit.
I was showing the typology that God shows us in scripture how we were created to consume from him, Everlasting Life.
And what you say Cross is about the Sacrifice of the Lamb of God- Catholics are right there with you.
Although we would say that Sacrifice began in the Last Supper, during the New Passover, for the New Exodus for the purposes of our own bodily resurrection into Heaven.

Your pretend -which you believe is reality- to eat the actual flesh, blood, soul and divinity of Jesus is a carnal focus proving your focus is not on the spiritual but on the carnal, the flesh.

No Pretending. Real Presence.
Jesus blessed the Bread-
The Priest blesses and consecrates the Bread:

Be pleased, O God, we pray,
to bless, acknowledge,
and approve this offering in every respect;
make it spiritual and acceptable,
so that it may become for us
the Body and Blood of your most beloved Son,
our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Eucharist is Both substance and spiritual. It’s the complete Body, Blood- SOUL and Divinity that Christ wants to give us. His body may have been restrained to physical entity on Earth (sans miracles)- but immediately after the Resurrection- he’s Body- “don’t cling to me” and Spirit- disappearing before Clopas in Emmaus - This is how he has revealed himself to Us. And not just to a single people or nation - but throughout the world in every nation -
He is alive- and his presence is in the Tabernacles on Altars all over HIS world -
just as the Bread of Presence was in the Ark of the Covenant-
so that God is with us.

For the Incarnation within us.
