Marjorie Taylor Greene: I Was Raised Catholic, but Wicked Bishops Have ‘Driven Me Away’ from the Church
LifeSite News ^ | 5/4/22 | Claire Chretien

‘Mrs. Greene's statement about leaving the Church is as enlightening as it is saddening,’ commented Michael Hichborn, president of the Lepanto Institute.

(LifeSiteNews) – Following criticism of comments she made about the U.S. Catholic bishops, conservative firebrand U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene revealed that she was raised Catholic but left the Church “with great sorrow” when she had kids because she had concerns about the left-wing hierarchy protecting abusive priests.

“With great sorrow, and unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, I stopped attending Catholic Mass when I became a mother, because I realized that I could not trust the Church’s leadership to protect my children from pedophiles, and that they harbored monsters even in their own ranks,” the now-evangelical said in a lengthy statement.

The Georgia Republican was responding to the Catholic League’s Bill Donahue, who slammed her for suggesting in an interview with Church Militant’s Michael Voris that “Satan is controlling the Church.”

“The Church is not doing its job. And it’s not adhering to the teachings of Christ,” she added.

“It’s the Church leadership I was referring to when I invoked the Devil,” Greene clarified on Twitter. “Just so we’re clear, bishops, when I said ‘controlled by Satan,’ I wasn’t talking about the Catholic Church. I was talking about you.”

“The Catholic Church must throw out these monsters instead of lecturing the people its own bishops have driven away,” she continued, blasting the U.S. Catholic bishops as “some of the worst in the world” and “scheming bureaucrats in miters.” It was the “bishops’ wickedness” that drove her out of the Church, Greene said, and her own refusal to “submit the spiritual and physical livelihood of my children to these monsters.”

Greene, who is sometimes referred to as “MTG” (à la “AOC”), went on to say what many faithful Catholics who.......

True; this is why I made sure to specify only a portion of them.

For aq significant number of Catholics, the rise of the talking mule, Francis, may be opening their hearts to the Gospel of Grace over the org gospel of working for salvation.

I know for my grandparents, it was the protect-the-pedo-priest scandal that made them realize the Gospel.

What’s wrong with Joyce Meyers?

I watched her show once or twice, but that was probably 12+ years ago. Don’t remember much about it, it seemed more self-help but nothing really “alarming” — however that may just be as I wasn’t watching it too deeply.

regarding Adventists’ living longer than other Americans.

This is true - they live on average 5 to 10 years longer than other Americans of the same ethnicity.

They do live shorter than Sardinians or Japanese though.

The generic American diet has less fruit and vegetables and much less fibre than it ought to have.

however vegetarianism and veganism isn’t the only secret to longevity - or else the Hindus would live to 120 years (a full lifespan according to the Atharva-Veda).

The secret to living longer seems to be (SEEMS)
1. Having a lower proportion of meat - not zero, but not the quantities some Americans eat
2. Having much of that protein being from fish
3. having a lot of greens - salads, seaweed (Japanese) etc.
4. having a little alcohol.
5. lower stress levels (Sardinian — perhaps not the Japanese)

Pure vegetarianism or veganism isn’t for humans (B12 deficiency), but mostly vegetarian seems to be the right diet for health and longevity. Of course none of that can replace the taste of bacon!

The mark of the beast — just as the mark of God (given earlier in the book of revelation) is written on your heart and tongue meaning it is internal i.e. belief system.

the mark of the beast would be the false cults like the Adventists or Jehovah’s witnesses who reduce Jesus to being just an angel.

phil AGAIN, God would NEVER sanctify something he has already declared as an abomination,

Acts 10

[10] And being hungry, he was desirous to taste somewhat. And as they were preparing, there came upon him an ecstasy of mind. [11] And he saw the heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending, as it were a great linen sheet let down by the four corners from heaven to the earth: [12] Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts, and creeping things of the earth, and fowls of the air. [13] And there came a voice to him: Arise, Peter; kill and eat. [14] But Peter said: Far be it from me; for I never did eat any thing that is common and unclean. [15] And the voice spoke to him again the second time: That which God hath cleansed, do not thou call common.

[16] And this was done thrice; and presently the vessel was taken up into heaven
So you saying this text isn't there in your Adventist version of the Bible?

But, your hatred of God’s law prevents it.

So I take it you don't wear clothes made from multiple materials? That's also forbidden.

Law of First Mention: Gen_4:15 And the LORD said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.

Also, have a look at the word in Greek for yourself in Revelation. It’s a mark like ... a real mark.

Joyce Meyer is word of faith. I am not into word of faith. I am not into the kundalini spirit either. She may be a good motivational speaker, but I don’t agree with her theology, and the reasons are too many and too long to go into here. You can look up her doctrines for yourself. She is a heretic.

Knowing what we know about technology today, the mark of the beast, might be a computer chip of some sort. We simply don’t know for sure, but I am 💯% sure it is NOT Sunday worship. That is just pure, unadulterated horse hockey.

The 4th Commandment Sabbath is a DIRECT link to the Mark of the Beast and the 3 angel’s message. Over and over and over again we are told to WORSHIP God because He is our CREATOR, and, KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS, because that will be the standard of God’s JUDGMENT.

Anyone who missed these points would have to be spiritually blind, a hater of God’s law, (AND SPECIFICALLY OF THE 4TH COMMANDMENT), and a moron.

The MOTB clearly references the 4th commandment.

Those who willfully transgress God’s Moral law will not be in heaven. That goes double for the “Lord, Lord”, OSAS lawbreakers, who should certainly know better.

500 years of Protestant Reformers knew EXACTLY who the Antichrist power was. And, their MARK OF AUTHORITY is the Sabbath to Sunday change.

Catholic Record (September 1, 1923): “Now in the matter of Sabbath observance the Protestant rule of Faith is utterly unable to explain the substitution of the Christian Sunday for the Jewish Saturday. It has been changed. The Bible still teaches that the Sabbath or Saturday should be kept holy. There is no authority in the New Testament for the substitution of Sunday for Saturday. Surely it is an important matter. It stands there in the Bible as one of the Ten Commandments of God. There is no authority in the Bible for abrogating this Commandment, or for transferring its observance to another day of the week.” “For Catholics it is not the slightest difficulty.”…“The Church is above the Bible; and this transference of Sabbath observance from Saturday to Sunday is proof positive of that fact. Deny the authority of the Church and you have no adequate or reasonable explanation or justification for the substitution of Sunday for Saturday in the Third - Protestant Fourth - Commandment of God.”

Letter from C.F. Thomas, Chancellor of Cardinal Gibbons on October 28, 1895: “Of course the Catholic Church claims that the change was her act…And the act is a MARK of her ecclesiastical power and authority in religious matters.”

“Sunday is our mark of authority.…The church is above the Bible, and this transference of sabbath observance is proof of that fact.” The Catholic Record, London, Ontario, September 1, 1923.

THE COUNCIL OF TRENT!
THE COUNCIL OF TRENT!
THE COUNCIL OF TRENT!

Revelation 12:
17And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the COMMANDMENTS of God, and have the TESTIMONY of Jesus Christ.

Revelation 14:
6And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
7Saying with a loud voice, FEAR God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his JUDGMENT is come: and WORSHIP him that made HEAVEN, and EARTH, and the SEA, and the fountains of waters.
12Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the COMMANDMENTS of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Revelation 22:
14Blessed are they that do his COMMANDMENTS, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Ecclesiastes 12:
13Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: FEAR God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14For God shall bring every work into JUDGMENT, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

Nehemiah 9:6Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.

Psalms 148: 1Hallelujah! Praise the LORD from the heavens; praise Him in the highest places. 2Praise Him, all His angels; praise Him, all His heavenly hosts. 3Praise Him, O sun and moon; praise Him, all you shining stars. 4Praise Him, O highest heavens, and you waters above the skies. 5Let them praise the name of the LORD, for He gave the command and they were created.

Isaiah 37:16 “O Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, who is enthroned above the cherubim, You are the God, You alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth.

Your Catholic version of the bible doesn't contain this text?

Acts 10:28And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.

Can you not take the time to learn where and when to apply passages? It gets tiring to see you constantly in error.

You should be able to discern just by reading the passage alone who is being spoken of, but you’re just lost all the time in Scripture.

Take some study time, Phil. We’ll be here to damn when you get back.

You somehow left out the next sentence.

“The ceremonial laws for ancient Israel as recorded in the Old Testament simply do not apply today.”
