‘Mrs. Greene's statement about leaving the Church is as enlightening as it is saddening,’ commented Michael Hichborn, president of the Lepanto Institute.
(LifeSiteNews) – Following criticism of comments she made about the U.S. Catholic bishops, conservative firebrand U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene revealed that she was raised Catholic but left the Church “with great sorrow” when she had kids because she had concerns about the left-wing hierarchy protecting abusive priests.
“With great sorrow, and unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, I stopped attending Catholic Mass when I became a mother, because I realized that I could not trust the Church’s leadership to protect my children from pedophiles, and that they harbored monsters even in their own ranks,” the now-evangelical said in a lengthy statement.
The Georgia Republican was responding to the Catholic League’s Bill Donahue, who slammed her for suggesting in an interview with Church Militant’s Michael Voris that “Satan is controlling the Church.”
“The Church is not doing its job. And it’s not adhering to the teachings of Christ,” she added.
“It’s the Church leadership I was referring to when I invoked the Devil,” Greene clarified on Twitter. “Just so we’re clear, bishops, when I said ‘controlled by Satan,’ I wasn’t talking about the Catholic Church. I was talking about you.”
“The Catholic Church must throw out these monsters instead of lecturing the people its own bishops have driven away,” she continued, blasting the U.S. Catholic bishops as “some of the worst in the world” and “scheming bureaucrats in miters.” It was the “bishops’ wickedness” that drove her out of the Church, Greene said, and her own refusal to “submit the spiritual and physical livelihood of my children to these monsters.”
Greene, who is sometimes referred to as “MTG” (à la “AOC”), went on to say what many faithful Catholics who.......

Jesus showed us what the bread REPRESENTS, not what the breadtransmogrifies but what it REPRESENTS, when He physically took the bread in hand and broke it to feed pieces to His disciples on the night He was betrayed. He was physically there with them so either you catholic heretics believe He was tearing off pieces of Himself and feeding His actual flesh to these Jewsih men -violating His own admonition commandments to not eat the flesh of men or drink the blood- or you would accept that He established -as He stated then- a REMEMBRANCE rather than a cannibalistic contravention of aHis own commandments.
Because catholicism is a cult, you believe Jesus as God With Us contradicted His own commandment against eating and drinking huamn flesh and drinking the blood. You are a clever heretic, but just a heretic.
Not really - you lot removed books from the Bible as they didn’t agree with the 16th century philosophy.
Note that Luther had these books in his first version of his bible. As did the first edition of the KJV
the Catholic Church kept books in the Bible that Martin Luther tried to throw out because they didn’t fit his theology.
The Catholic Church organized the Canon of the Bible from many writings that were being circulated that was inspired by the Holy Spirit.
There was no Bible as we know it for the first 350 years of Christianity. Jesus did not give his Apostles a list of the books of the Bible (also known as the canon of Scripture) before he ascended into heaven. Rather, the early leaders of the Church, guided by the Holy Spirit, discerned which books belonged in the Bible. This process took centuries.
The Catholic Church authorized the Canon of the New Testament at the Councils of Carthage, Hippo & Rome about 390 AD, from what was read at Mass for the previous 400 years, as inspired by the Holy Spirit.
It also included the Greek Septuagint of the Old Testament as that was the main language spoken in the 1st century that the New Testament either quotes or refers to over 300 times to only about 30 times for the Hebrew version that Martin Luther put in his Bible.
The Bible is a Catholic Book.
In other words, the Word of God was mostly taught orally for the first 400 years of Christianity. There were no “Bible Alone” Protestants then.
Pope Damasus commissioned St. Jerome to translate the Old Testament, The Septuagint with 46 books, along with the New Testament, from Greek, Hebrew & Aramaic, into the Latin Vulgate for a total of 73 books which was the official Bible of the Catholic Church about 400 AD.
Now you say MhginTN the pretrib rapture is found taught from the Essene Dead Sea Scrolls hundreds of years before Jesus came
err.. nope -- absolutely NOTHING about a pre-tribulation rapture
Can you make ANY statement for your claim that "the pre trib rapture is found in the Dead sea scrolls"???
BTW, liar, you exposed your own lie by addressing more openly what you tried to sneakily imply regarding the pre-trib Rapture removal, Great Departure. Congrats, heretic, you exposed your own deception effort!

In the Enoch scroll from the Dead sea scrolls there is NO mention of the rapture

What pre tribulation rapture do you see there?4Q117 Ezra
Language: Hebrew (4:2-6) and Aramaic (4:9-6:6)
Date: About 50 B.C.
Location: Qumran Cave 4
Contents: Ezra 4:2-6; 9-11; 5:17; 6:1-6
Ezra 4
2 they came near to Zerubbabel, and to the heads of fathers’ households, and said to them, “Let us build with you; for we seek your God, as you do; and we have been sacrificing to him since the days of Esar Haddon king of Assyria, who brought us up here.”
3 But Zerubbabel, and Jeshua, and the rest of the heads of fathers’ households of Israel, said to them, “You have nothing to do with us in building a house to our God; but we ourselves together will build to Yahweh, the God of Israel, as king Cyrus the king of Persia has commanded us.”
4 Then the people of the land weakened the hands of the people of Judah, and troubled them in building. 5 They hired counselors against them, to frustrate their purpose, all the days of Cyrus king of Persia, even until the reign of Darius king of Persia. 6 In the reign of Ahasuerus, in the beginning of his reign, they wrote an accusation against the inhabitants of Judah and Jerusalem.
[..]
9 then Rehum the chancellor, Shimshai the scribe, and the rest of their companions, the Dinaites, and the Apharsathchites, the Tarpelites, the Apharsites, the Archevites, the Babylonians, the Shushanchites, the Dehaites, the Elamites, 10 and the rest of the nations whom the great and noble Osnappar brought over, and set in the city of Samaria, and in the rest of the country beyond the River, and so forth, wrote.
11 This is the copy of the letter that they sent:
To King Artaxerxes,
From your servants the men beyond the River.

Ezra 5
17 Now therefore, if it seems good to the king, let a search be made in the king’s treasure house, which is there at Babylon, whether it is so, that a decree was made of Cyrus the king to build this house of God at Jerusalem; and let the king send his pleasure to us concerning this matter.”
Ezra 6
1 Then Darius the king made a decree, and the house of the archives, where the treasures were laid up in Babylon, was searched. 2 A scroll was found at Achmetha, in the palace that is in the province of Media, and in it this was written for a record:
3 In the first year of Cyrus the king, Cyrus the king made a decree: Concerning God’s house at Jerusalem, let the house be built, the place where they offer sacrifices, and let its foundations be strongly laid; with its height sixty cubits, and its width sixty cubits; 4 with three courses of great stones and a course of new timber. Let the expenses be given out of the king’s house. 5 Also let the gold and silver vessels of God’s house, which Nebuchadnezzar took out of the temple which is at Jerusalem, and brought to Babylon, be restored and brought again to the temple which is at Jerusalem, everything to its place. You shall put them in God’s house.
6 Now therefore, Tattenai, governor beyond the River, Shetharbozenai, and your companions the Apharsachites, who are beyond the River, you must stay far from there.
“In Revelation, the seven sealed scroll”
John’s book of the apocalypse reflects Ezekiel’s eating of the scroll
And note that Ezekiel in chapter 3 eats the scroll and then going on to foretell the destruction of Jerusalem in 500 BC.
Similarly John talks about the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD
The Rapture question is determined more by ecclesiology than eschatology. Neither postrtibulationalism nor pretribulationalism is an explicity teaching of Scripture. The bible does not in so many words state itThe 19th century Darby philosophy of rapturism fails each time
Premillenialism is a fail - the Millenium is mentioned only once - in the book of the Apocalypse that is filled with symbolism. Its mention immediately follows Rev 19 Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.
and then rev 20: 3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
This is clearly figurative.
Premils misunderstand the message of Isaiah, Jeremiah and the entire New Testament by claiming the Kingdom is purely corporeal
Both Pre and post are soundly wrong
The Millenium is a spiritual reign of Christ that has been present in the community of Christ since Pentecost.
The Bible continually uses the terms Kingdom of God, Kingdom of heaven, Messianic Kingdom and Church interchangeably
The entire bible is amillenial and the Rapturists can only distort Revelation 20:1-6 -- note "distort" to put their 19th century rapture philosophy
I did jump to 38:30 :)
In 38:17 he clearly points out uh, maybe I, the pre-trib rapture guy, am putting the interpretation wrong
Then he says the shepherd of hermas was pre-tribulation rapture -- it isn't - it in fact talks of the tribulation as IN THE PAST "You have escaped from great tribulation on account of your faith, and because you did not doubt in the presence of such a beast." -- note that HAVE ESCAPED from great tribulation
Here's the online Shepherd of Hermas -- can you see anything pre tribulation rapture related in that????
==================
Then he says Ireneaus
In 177 AD Ireneaus predicted that the world would end in 1000 AD..
.. just a point to you -- it didn't
But Irenaeus wrote NOTHING of a pre-tribulation rapture - so your Doc Johnson is WRONG
===============
Then he says Hippolytus - Hippolytus was a student of Irenaeus and wrote pretty much the same. Only thing - Hippolytus wrote NOTHING about a pre-tribulation rapture and he said the world would end in 500 AD
.
Just a hint - he too was wrong. The world din't end in 500 AD
=====
then next Victorianius - but again, no reference, not even saying what Doc Johnson think Victorianus wrote
Then EPhraem - and ephraem wrote NOTHING about a pre-tribulation rapture -- read it for yourself
Dude - your Doc Johnson just spouts disjointed sentences excerpted from various sources and strings them out of context
Have you, MHGinTN, read the Shepherd of Hermas or the Apocalypse of Ephraem? They're pretty short, I'd encourage you to read them yourself
No apology, eh? Not even an admission that you hadn’t actually read my posts before continuing your harassment campaign against me?
Yeah, I had a sinking feeling that would be the case.
Rather sad that so many Roman Catholics would rather—according to their own religion—remain outside of a state of grace with a mortal sin on their souls (and thus, suffer eternal damnation) than admit that they were wrong about anything to a filthy Christian.
I have to wonder what that says about their true priorities are in life.
Gaslighting is not a lamp lighting ceremony. And denial, even if pretending to be scholarly, is still denial. Readers who watch Ken’s video can decide for themselves. You remain just a deceiving heretic. More of the scrolls are now available, so you either stick to trying to defend your lies or get up to date. I believe you will continue with your preferred lies.
That’s not gaslighting
I watched your guys video
1. he doesn’t give details, just throw-aways.
2. he claims that Ireneaus, Hippolytus, etc. all were pre tribulation rapture. And they aren’t —> have YOU, MHGinTN read the works of Ireneaus? They are kinda long, but you can do it.
3. Ephraem wrote NOTHING about the pre tribulation rapture. Have you read Ephraem’s apocalypse? it’s pretty short. I’d encourage you to read it
4. The Dead sea scrolls have nothing about the pre tribulation rapture. The fragments are short and you can easily read them online — I’d encourage you to read them yourself.
In short none of the references given by you or Doc Johnson have anything about the pre tribulation rapture.
Please read them for yourself and see that they don’t. There’s no “pre tribulation rapture” before Darby in the early 19th century.
you should give me an apology - you claimed that I already answered you in post 412. when post 412 was written by me, not you.
you are claiming my post as your own giving an answer
you're guilty of an intentional falsehood and you're going to Hell for that mortal sin unless you repent and apologize
Was Jesus GOD in Mary's womb?
You keep claiming to answer it but you haven't. as YOU said "you're guilty of an intentional falsehood and you're going to Hell for that mortal sin unless you repent and apologize"
Yeah, beef.
Peter was very clear that he had never eaten unclean meat. Why would he? It would have been an abomination.
——>Yes, ‘out of the midst’ does mean rapture.
Not in 2 Thess 2:7, PROFESSOR.
Ken Johnson is either a moron or a liar. Take your pick.
Post 694 shows a clearer view of Ken’s lies. He attempts to change the word of God so he looks good in the eyes of his Prophecy Watchers overlords. He should hang his head in shame. So should you.
