I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. (1 Timothy 2:1-2)

WHILE ALL PRAYER IS A FORM OF WORSHIP, THE PRAYER OF PRAISE IS THE ONE THAT SHOULD COME FIRST, NOT BECAUSE OF WHAT WE DO, BUT BECAUSE OF WHO GOD IS.
You are in total control. You are Absolutely Good. You knew the end from the beginning. Nothing escapes You. You told us that in the end times there would be tribulation, that good will be seen as evil and evil, good. It is too difficult to internalize what is taking place in this country, this world. . .what we do realize is that evil has taken a toe hold and many confessed believers have gone the way of the world and righteousness is not a virtue to be sought. You birthed this nation to evangelize the world but instead it has become a purveyor of filth, greed, and blasphemy. May we heed Your Word, “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin condemns any people.” (Proverbs 14:34)
Although each of us bears some responsibility for the evil engulfing day to day living, we are painfully aware of the church’s role in our nation’s demise. We pray for an awakening of those under the leadership of lukewarm leaders who choose to refrain from being led by Holy Spirit in their teaching, preaching, and worship. We pray that those who find themselves under such leadership will immediately seek a church that has not and will not compromise Your Word.
Heavenly Father, we continue to pray against criminal intent & malfeasance by world leaders and even both political parties in our own country and that their ways are uncovered and justice served. We ask for Your Hope, Your Protection, Your Guidance for those who have fallen victim to such malfeasance.
May we continue to daily seek You, Holy Spirit, to guide our every path. Please put Your Fire within us to do what is necessary all across this land to witness to a lost and dying world, a hurting world that needs a Savior. Please cause a revival in the hearts and minds of every Christian . . . a revival that begins with a self-evaluation of what is personally being done with the time, gifts and talents You have given us. I ask personally for our church that it will be a beacon in the community and the revival we are planning in mid May will reignite the passion in church members as well as be a harvest for the unsaved.
This Sunday is Mother’s Day. For those of us blessed with godly mothers who share/shared the love of Jesus, love of family and country . . . we have been given a mandate to follow their example . . . for to whom much is given much is required (Luke 12:48). You create in every child a Divine Destiny; therefore we pray for mothers and soon to be mothers to always look to You for guidance. And we also pray that once again we will witness godly older women willing to be role models.
Father God, help us as Christians across this nation remember that every time we leave our homes or churches we are entering Your Mission Field. It’s a fact we even enter the mission field while on the phone, handhelds and computers. Please keep those Divine Appointments coming. Your timing put five people in my path yesterday that I know that You arranged.
May You find each of us daily praying, “Jesus, please shine in my life so that I will be a blessing to someone. Have Your Way with me Lord in Your Service.”

Dear Lord, we beseech Thee to purge the monstrous Satanic evil that has seized control of our institutions and government ! Bring these evil individuals to justice ! Strike down these wicked individuals and institutions that blatantly and audaciously lie to the public about their true (evil) intentions while painting good people as the real enemy !
Do not let these servants of darkness prevail over Your children ! Send forth Your angels to liberate us, oh, Lord ! Hear our cries and help us, please, dear Lord !
