Heavenly Father –

This week, we passed the holiday Presidents Day and the 290th birthday of our first president, George Washington, born on February 22, 1732.

As the father of our country, he gave us this warning and legacy:

We confess that we have strayed from the faith of our founding fathers. We live like practical atheists, like God does not exist.

Give us a heart of repentance and a love for God’s Word. May we return to the God of our fathers:

We appeal to Heaven for deliverance from the hands of the wicked. Free us from the grip dark spiritual strongholds in high places that hold us captive and seek to destroy us.

And this appeal goes back to the flag on George Washington’s cruisers during the Revolutionary War:

Grant us a love for the Word of God, love for Jesus, and keeping His commandments through the power of the Spirit. Fill us with the Spirit and equip us to fight the spiritual battles ahead.

May we remember the words of our first president as we forge ahead in the twenty-first century.

Spark revival in our hearts, ignite revival and a Great Awakening, and blanket our land with healing.

-Envision: Families. Soldiers. Elderly. Decision-makers.
Petition on their behalf for God’s presence, protection, peace.
-Pray for their enemy to be restrained, repelled; that they would return to their own country.
-For their leaders to be interrupted by the fear of God in their actions to destabilize life and destroy lives.
-Ask the Holy Spirit to prompt millions across the globe to pray.
-And, that everyone who prays, will begin to “trust in the Lord with all their heart” for Ukraine but also for their own life, family, friends, and neighbors; for salvation and transformation.

Jesus build and bless your Church as you call us to pray.
Make your mark, “thy kingdom come,” on history.
And pray for pastors to lead and serve with courage and faith.
