Heavenly Father –
As we pass the 76th anniversary of VJ Day (Victory over Japan), drawing to a close the end of World War II, may we draw strength during dark days. Many times, it looked like our enemies would win.
Yet, through God’s grace and God’s help, we prevailed. And our resolve as a UNITED nation and people was put forth by our leaders from the get-go:
Yet, we confess that we have strayed and lost our resolve and will to do what is right.
Grant us a heart of repentance. Fill us with the Spirit. Teach us Your Word. Direct our paths.
And our enemy, these days, is not the enemy on the other side of the oceans, but the enemy within. And the influence of the Evil One has metastasized as a cancer throughout our people and institutions.
Worst of all, we have forgotten You, the Author of Liberty and Freedom, and Your goodness toward us.
Grant us a heart of repentance. Fill us with the Spirit and teach us Your Word. Equip us to fight the spiritual battles and map out the battle plan for the soul of our nation and our people:
Meanwhile, may we march on during the time You have given us on earth. May we have this confidence, during dark times and troubles, that the battle has already been won:
And if it be Your will, Father, save our nation and our people to become the nation and people You want us to be. May we become a blessing, shining Your Light and restraining evil until You come to take us out of this world.

Dearest Lord, we need a God sized miracle to right this ship. Soften the hearts of those who rebel against You, especially those in leadership that work for the enemy.

FATHER, we rejoice and give thanks for the true
