Was "the plan" to expel God from the Garden of Eden (Bible Thumper caucus)

After all, Satan's bait was that Adam and Eve would become as gods. And together with Satan, that would seem to them to be at least two or possibly three gods (if Satan was believed to be a god as well) against one.

Interesting sounding book. I wonder if Satan only wanted Adam and Eve to join him in misery, or if he thought that if he enlisted these new creatures to his side then he could defeat God after all.

Neither Adam nor Chavvah had a conscious thought to try to fight against God. They were, however, looking for shortcuts.

This is completely confused thinking. God is YHWH, I AM- the only thing existing by its own will. Anything else that exists exists because he allows it. Satan is less than an impotent speck just like we are to YWHW, the eternal one who spoke all thinks into existence. Satan is not his equal; the truth is not same pagan notion of a pantheon of man made gods or even equal opposing forces of good and evil. Satan has been bound. The decision “who wins” eternally is not a question. God allows each of us to decide which way we choose to go: eternal life with him, or unending misery with Satan.

The great love of God is to want to have fellowship with His creation.

The great deception of Satan is to try to keep us from having fellowship with God.

The great failure of man is that we have no desire to want to have fellowship with God.

Despite the deception of Satan and the failure of man, God still wills to have fellowship with us.

There is no evidence Adam and Eve were not happy being subservient to God. God had been so good to them. He walked with them in the garden in the cool of the evening. They had all they needed in the garden. Eve was seduced by the color and aroma of the fruit and the words of Satan “That ye shall not die” and would make her wise. This was trickery. Lies from Satan meant to flatter and deceive.

Humanity was expelled from the Garden, though, and became subject to death, and had our relationship to God severely damaged.

The great failure of man is that we have no desire to want to have fellowship with God.

We fool ourselves into thinking we are seeking God when the Bible tells us God is pursuing us. He is knocking at the door. But it is our sinfulness which separates us and like Adam we are afraid of God (Gen 3:10) because of His purity.

I agree with you that there is only one real standard of goodness and it has been defined Biblically.

However, the left is still motivated by the concept of goodness, even if they have the wrong definition of what it means to be good.

However again, even if they redefined their concept of goodness to align with the definition given to us by God, they still define how to enforce it differently. The left can make adjustments to more closely match as they run up against natural law and break themselves against it.

We enforce goodness through goodwill and empathy for our fellow man. The left enforces goodness through mandated that are enforced with the use of deadly force.

I highly recommend getting that book.
It answers a lot of questions and dives deep into a lot of subjects most folks would gloss over in their reading of the Bible.

“but what Satan and possibly Adam and Eve came up with, an unholy plan to expel God “. Not the way I read it. Satan planned it. Eve desired to be equal with God. Adam saw no way out of the trouble Eve got into. Adam should have had more trust in God being able to solve his problem of Eve being in trouble. While Eve should have been humble and seen how God was gracious to provide all the goodness He gave.

When the ride was in His Plymouth, it was done Furiously. But in Satan’s Chevvy, it would have been accomplished Capriciously. Eh?

That’s an interesting take on what the watchers could be.

From the context, I just figured they were angels.

By the time of the Garden Party, that Serpent, the devil had already been judged a death sentence ... The whole reason/cause for this ‘flesh’ age was to give every soul a ‘choice’ to live or join the devil in total and complete removal ... no more rebels and troublemakers in the eternity. The Adam demonstrated just how easily in the flesh one is led by the base nature..

Adam was with Eve during the temptation and did not stop her from eating, which was his responsibility as the head of the home,

He should have stepped right up the moment Satan misquoted the one verse of Scripture God gave to man. Somehow there was a breakdown of communication between what God told Adam and what Eve said what the command was.

God never told them they couldn’t touch the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. He only said not to eat of it.

Adam blew it on several levels and missed more than one opportunity to intervene.

Since God gave him authority over all creation, he could have simply ordered Satan to leave and that would have been the end of it.

Then the question arises of whether each and every individual would be faced with that same choice and whether sin would not have entered the world at some point or another.

***** I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: (Deuteronomy 30:19)

For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. (Acts 2:39)

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; (Acts 3:19)*****

This may be a bit out there, and presuming much(which much commentary about the Bible does) But I think these may be some key references as to why satan wanted Eve to eat of the forbidden fruit.

Its not just that satan is a girl, and God is dad. The only way satan could get back at dad was to ensure that his creation could not flourish. Therefore why the restriction on the one fruit of twelve in the garden after the other eleven had already been eaten? Why were the rest of the trees removed from Adam and Eve?

Maybe, and this is a BIG maybe, the one fruit is a catalyst that once was initialized must be followed up by diligent regard for the order and manner in which the rest of the fruits are to follow.

If so, maybe we as a planet are being guided on eventually how to reach the stars, irregardless if there are other beings out there.

Maybe we are just in first grade.

The problem you’re trying to address is not in the garden of eden but rather in the tree of knowledge.

Google “Descartes Tree of Knowledge”

“The plan” I mean was what Satan and Adam and Eve possibly had in mind in rebelling against God.”
I comprehend your premise. There is simply no basis whatsoever for it.

An interesting theory. We know from Scripture that Satan thought more highly of himself than what he should and he did imagine:

“I will ascend to the heavens; I will raise my throne above the stars of God. I will sit on the mount of assembly, in the far reaches of the north. I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.” (Isaiah 14:13,14)

By perverting the word of God to man - His crown of creation made in His own image - it seems plausible that Satan wanted to usurp God's place and subdue man to serve him. What always struck me as strange was Satan KNOWS who Almighty God is and what He can do. He also knows what the Bible says about his final end and that nothing he tries to do will change that. Yet he STILL tries to drag as many down with him as he can in a last ditch spit in the face of God. But Satan can do nothing that God doesn't permit in His perfect will. Not a single soul can he snatch that God has chosen from before the foundation of the world. Jesus said, "All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out." (John 6:37).

The devil is a fool! Behind all the pride and self-exaltation, the raging about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour, he is already a defeated foe and he will have all eternity to be tormented by that fact! How sad that foolish Satan worshippers imagine they'll be treated well in hell because they're on "his side". They don't realize he will NOT be in charge but will be the worst punished. He is after all the "father of lies". I can see why God hates pride.
