Be convinced of these 4 biblical truths: 1. Each of us has sinned; 2. God is just, requiring a punishment for sin; 3. But out of love God sent His Son, Jesus Christ who by dying on the cross, provided forgiveness of sins in taking man’s deserved punishment; 4. Therefore, by faith alone in Christ’s sacrifice for our sins and belief in His resurrection, man can gain eternal life. (Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 10:9-10, Romans 3:21-26)
So according to the ghost of mary, most Catholics didn't/don't make it to purgatory...Including a large number of its 'ordained' clergy....
So Mary says your religion is pretty much a failure...Most of the Catholics who were baptized as babies and eat Jesus are still going to hell...And the crazy thing is, you live your life as a devoted Catholic and never do find out if you go to purgatory or hell...Yet you want the rest of us to join you...
Jesus and the Blessed Mother want all to join them in Heaven, but we must accept all the teachings of Jesus, and reject our own man-made beliefs and sinful ways.
It is not God or the Catholic faith that has failed.
Individuals have accepted the ways of the world and Satan and rejected God and His revealed Truths. Yes some Catholics including clergy are in that group.
We all need to understand our sins, be truly sorry for them, change from our sinful ways, repent and do penance.
We all find out where we go Heaven, Hell or Purgatory based on the judgment from Jesus when we die. Mt 25:31-46
Fundamentalists who believe that Catholics “don’t know if they’re saved or not” are convinced, in the words of James G. McCarthy, former Catholic and author of The Gospel According to Rome, “that Biblical salvation is secure, for it does not depend upon man but upon God.” This thinking fails to distinguish between the promises of God, which are always true and steadfast, and the choices of man, which are not. The object of hope—salvation—remains secure, but the subject of hope—man—can accept, reject, despair, and presume at any time. We don’t possess free will only when we make our initial choice of God’s gift of salvation; the capacity to later reject, deny, or trample it is always with us.

Why do you want to wait till you die, only to wake up in the flames 🔥 of hell? Sounds like a pretty rotten deal to me. If you want to play that game, with your immortal soul, knock yourself out. I am comfortable outside of that line of thinking. 👍 I like having assurance of salvation, even if some think we can’t. I have it. If you don’t, that’s on you bro.
We all find out where we go the second we accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. At that very moment we pass from death to Life and are assured of our salvation. Those that don’t believe find out their fate at judgement I suppose. There is no mythical third choice of purgatory.
Amen! Hope you had a blessed Easter as well.
Because Jesus has risen we are assured that “It is finished” and our sins are removed from us as far as the east is from the west. He promised our sins and iniquities will be remembered no more. PTL!
Praise His Holy name forever!
I disagree; but here is WHY I do:
Genesis 6:1-8
1 When human beings began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them, 2 the sons of God saw that the daughters of humans were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose. 3 Then the Lord said, “My Spirit will not contend with humans forever, for they are mortal; their days will be a hundred and twenty years.”
4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.
5 The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time. 6 The Lord regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled. 7 So the Lord said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created—and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground—for I regret that I have made them.” 8 But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord. It does NOT say the GIANTs mated with the Humans; it merely says they were on the earth. ??? So; just WHO are the sons of God and the daughters of humans??? The BOOK says: Let Us create Man in Our image. So there you get some 'sons of God'; right?? The BOOK also says, in Genesis 5:3-4 When Adam had lived 130 years, he had a son in his own likeness, in his own image; and he named him Seth. 4 After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters. These things happened BEFORE Genesis chapter 6....
Where's the mocking?
Surely blood from the Source would be MUCH more efficacious than mere wine that theoretically changes into blood when you drink it.
I guess you guys can quit waiting now.
ok. now you did it. you made Mary mad!
Funny. My mothers name is Doris
There are many things we will learn in eternity. I cannot wait until we sit at Jesus feet and learn Scripture directly from Him. Oh to have been on the road to Emmaus!
What a concept!
30 Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. 31 But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.
The missing verses between 29 and 30 of John 20 have been preserved by Catholic tradition. I include them here for your edification...
"Tom, now that you are a believer, I am leaving my Mom in charge until my return. I shall be busy in Heaven, preparing that place for you all, so direct any needs and prayers and devotion to her, and she will get my attention from time to time and then I'll take care of things for you.
So, until my return, Endure."
Perhaps, but they ain't BEGOTTEN.
There is only One of them.
I’m hardly an expert, but I read it as ‘angels’ or demons who are mentioned in Jude 1:6 as leaving their first estate and are now in Tartarus.
The context in Genesis to me states sons of God, not sons of men or sons on man.
I’m also of the belief that we hardly know anything about the pre-flood world. Dinosaur bones clearly point to a flood. And Devil’s Tower in Wyoming might be the stump of a pre-flood tree, there are clearly other things in plain sight that could point to that world that I’m not thinking of.
I agree with Mom Md, to be on the road to Emmaus. One of these days I imagine boring the Lord to death with decades worth of Q’s & A’s. :)
She will get over it, mom. There is no doubt Mary was blessed among women, and gave birth to Jesus. It all ends right there. She was not a sinless demigoddess, like the Catholic Church wants us to believe. I don’t accept that, for a second.
In fact, I think when Mary and her children (yes, Mary and Joseph had sexual relations, and had a ton of kids) came to see Jesus, they may have been trying to get Jesus, to stop what he was doing, since it may have been bringing unwanted attention to the family.
Who knows for sure when Mary came to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. It’s possible, though we don’t know for sure, but she may not have even known who Jesus was, till he walked out of the tomb. 🤗 I think the original queen of heaven, was Semiramis, the wife of Nimrod. I think the worship of Nimrod and Semiramis, was widespread at the time of Jesus. Actually, I think it’s still with us today. 😁
