Sorry bro. I believe the sons of God, in the Old Testament, ALWAYS referred to angels, whether fallen or unfallen. Even Flavius Josephus accepted that view. It might take 8 hours to explain it all, and I think it’s for another thread.
I have heard all sides, and I accept the fallen angel view. It’s not a salvation issue, so it isn’t that important, but I accept the fallen angel view. If you don’t, so be it bro.
MHG, or RWC, chime in, if you feel led. 😁

There are many things we will learn in eternity. I cannot wait until we sit at Jesus feet and learn Scripture directly from Him. Oh to have been on the road to Emmaus!

Perhaps, but they ain't BEGOTTEN.

There is only One of them.

 It's different in the New...

Matt.   5:9    “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.”
Luke 20:36  “for they cannot even die anymore, because they are like angels, and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection.”
Rom. 8:14   “For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.”
Rom. 8:19   “For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God.”
Gal.   3:26   “For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.”

I’m hardly an expert, but I read it as ‘angels’ or demons who are mentioned in Jude 1:6 as leaving their first estate and are now in Tartarus.

The context in Genesis to me states sons of God, not sons of men or sons on man.

I’m also of the belief that we hardly know anything about the pre-flood world. Dinosaur bones clearly point to a flood. And Devil’s Tower in Wyoming might be the stump of a pre-flood tree, there are clearly other things in plain sight that could point to that world that I’m not thinking of.

I agree with Mom Md, to be on the road to Emmaus. One of these days I imagine boring the Lord to death with decades worth of Q’s & A’s. :)

Job_1:6  Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.
Job_2:1  Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD.
Job_38:7  When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

Who/whatever thy were, they apparently hung around with God and Satan...

What's interesting is that there were giants in the earth in those days...And after every one died in the flood, except for Noah and his immediate family, there were still giants in the earth...(food for thought)
