Scamvangelist: In a typical display of unbridled greed, sleazy televangelist Kenneth Copeland warns followers that even if they lose their job because of the coronavirus pandemic they must keep giving him money because Jesus.
Copeland, appearing on his Victory Live TV show, declared:
Fear of this coronavirus is faith in its ability to hurt you or kill you. The fear of What are we gonna do? Im getting laid off at work!
Hey! Your jobs not your source. If it is, youre in trouble. Jesus is your source! Whatever you do right now, dont you stop tithing! Dont you stop sowing offerings.
Well, they wont let us go to church!
Well, email it in, then! Text together. Something. But you get your tithe in that church if you have to go take it down there and drop it off stick it under the door or something. You get that tithe in that church, you get that offering in that church, and then you go home and do what youre supposed to do.

Thats right. Copeland is ordering his gullible followers to keep giving him money even if they lose their job in the coronavirus pandemic because Jesus.
Earlier this month the televangelist made headlines after claiming that he could cure viewers of the coronavirus if they touched his oily hand through their television set during his televised ministry.
In that video Copeland declared:
Put your hand on that television set. Hallelujah. Thank you, Lord Jesus. He received your healing. Now say it: I take it. I have it. Its mine. I thank you and praise you for it
According to the Word of God, I am healed. And I consider not my own body. I consider not symptoms in my own body, but only that which God has promised. Only that what the Word has said. And by His stripes, I was healed. And by His stripes, I am healed now. I am not the sick trying to get healed. I am the healed, and the Devil is trying to give me the flu! Or whatever else kind of thing hes trying.

The stupid, it burns.
This scumbag, just complete evil, vile scumbag, will reap his just reward. I cannot for the life of me understand how rational people fall for his lies.
I can’t imagine the HELL that awaits those that scam in the name of God
"Who sends him money?"
Those who are at the end of their hope, the poorest, those who are dying, feel forgotten, those who have lost everything."
May God deal justice to this lousy, lying charlatan as only He can.
Let’s see. What is 10% of no income?
I wonder why the Lord never tells him to sustain his flock, to give back to them.
I read somewhere that televangelist always say “Send your money to God”, but they ask that it be sent to their address.
“Tithe” is supposed to be 10% of income. What’s 10% of zero?
And isn’t the church supposed to help the poor out of that money?
Meaning he lives off those on their last legs of hope and then dashes them? How does he live with himself?
Since tithing is giving 10% of your income, I agree with him. Keep giving 10% of your income.
JMO, YMMV
He consoles himself to the suffering of others by going to his airport and flying one of his many aircraft around until his guilt is quelled.
1 Timothy 4:1-2 comes to mind with those ‘health and wealth’ ‘preachers’ like Copeland, Creflo Dollar, and Rodney Howard-Browne, amongst many!
I am the last one in the world to defend Copeland, but he did stipulate to take it to “that” church, not send it to him. He is a scam artist, but not stupid enough to let it show to that degree.
Dear Carnival Barker posing as a preacher:
A tithe is 10% of income. When you income falls to $1 a week, your tithe falls to a dime. Here’s your dime. Now go call someone who cares.
I fear no man. But that guy is scary. Apparently God wants him to have another Gulfstream.
Scum.
I wonder if he wears that bracelet WHAT WOULD JESUS DO.
I’m not sure who gives to him, but I do know one reason I have so little respect for the Catholic Church is because way back when Ireland was facing the Potato Famine the Catholic Church still insisted on people giving them money. People were starving and losing everything- but the Catholic Church still kept it’s greedy paw out for money.
Do you know that the New Testament never teaches tithing to Christians? Never! Furthermore, tithing in the Old Testament was not of money or income.
In Old Covenant Israel, the Levites didnt have a land inheritance of their own, as did their other tribes of Israel. As such, the Levitical priests and temple workers had no land to raise crops, herds, and flocks for food, as did the other tribes. Thus, God provided for these Levites by requiring a tenth of the crops, herds, and flocks of the other tribes for feeding the Levites. In the most popular passage used to binding tithing on Christians, Mal. 3.8-10, Malachi wrote:
8 Will a man rob God? Yet you are robbing Me! But you say, How have we robbed Thee? In tithes and offerings. 9 You are cursed with a curse, for you are robbing Me, the whole nation of you! 10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open for you the windows of heaven, and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows.
The storehouse was an area in the temple complex where foodstuffs were stored for the Levites who worked there. Countless sermons are preached in denominations binding tithing on Christians. Of course, theyre binding it on the income of Christians, not their produce. The tithe wasnt on income in the Bible. The gold miner didnt give a tenth of his gold.
Other than bringing money to the pastor rather than food to the storehouse in the temple in Jerusalem, these fellows are teaching exactly what Malachi said.
Ten percent of nothing is nothing.
old people, silly people, people that cannot afford to support his household. Thats who sends the $$.
It’s like a cult! The people that went with Jim Jones signed their homes over to him.
