Please pray for my Lenny.
I’ll second that.
My heart is with you, Dear FRiend.
Thanks to my dog cam, I now know she passed at 12:19 while I was napping with this migraine.
Hrafi the Dobermann boy stayed with her for the last moments of her life.
She was up moving around hours before that and then just laid down and stopped breathing.
Half of me is sorry I watched all that and the other half is glad she went with no panic or fear.
I feel like there is a dagger in my heart, though.
I pray to God that she is up there running and playing with all the others who have gone ahead of me, too.
Thank you so much.
It hurts.
Sorry to hear of your loss.
Youll Meet Me in the Light
I know that you cant see me,
But trust me Im right here.
Although Im up in heaven,
My love for you stays near.
So often I see you crying,
Many times you call my name,
I want so much to lick your face
And ease some of your pain.
I wish that I could make you see
That Heaven indeed is real.
If you could see me run and play
How much better you would feel.
But our loving God has promised me
That when the time is right,
Youll step out of the darkness and
Meet me in the light.

Above is a great video with Jimmy Stewart about his dog “Beau”. It starts off sort of goofy - but ends up very touching.
Thinking of you Salamander. Hope Lenny (and you) do better.
I’m so sorry for your loss, Sal. Please know that you and your family (furry and otherwise) are ever in my prayers....
So so sorry for yet another struggle...and such a heartbreaking one. You are never far from my thoughts. Keep the faith, Sal. Keep the faith.
I pray that your husband will be “fixed” now that you’ve got him into the hospital. He is still relatively young enough to survive more work on his heart. Once they get that fixed they can set his hip. From all the people I’ve known who have had hip replacements say it’s not that bad. My dear grandmother way back in time broke her hip in her 80s and she came home saying “wish I had had that done years ago” She went back to her garden and lived on several more years. I will hold your beloved up for healing. God is good.
She was at home, with her family, and then went Home quietly.
Now she is with those that went before her...happy and running.
Nan, are y’all having the dragonfly thing?
There were hundreds out there while I was burying my dog and apparently, massive swarms of huge dragonflies are everywhere today.
I have *never* seen such a thing in my life.
They’re even swarming in the mountains where there’s not really any bodies of water.
On FB, some people are connecting it to 9/11 memorial.
This place sounded hopeful but they state that they dont perform major engine repairs.
Sadly that is what I need.
Thank you for checking around for me though.
