Lenten Intercession

“I have not come to call those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners and need to repent.”

Father in Heaven,

Glorious Creator, Giver of Life and of Law, hear our prayers!

Today we intercede once again for our nation in turmoil and disorder. We ask forgiveness, Lord, that those who honor You might help to drag this nation back from the brink, if it be Your will for America.

The sins made manifest in public are so egregious and disheartening, so injurious to young minds, we can only beg Your miraculous turning of hearts and minds to You. Awaken the sleepers once again, dear Father.

Give believers the words, the tools, the judges and the juries to unbind the grip of Satan on the laws of the land. Put bold legal strategies into the minds of DOJ and Constitutional lawyers and help untangle the webs of deceit choking our systems.

Aid President Trump as he seeks to clear the overgrowth of regulation, restriction, and false intention from our national life. We ask your special attention, Lord God Almighty, on thwarting the ultra-wealthy men and women behind the organizing and funding of anti-Christian, anti-semitic and anti-Constitution pressure groups and lawsuits. Help our nation to name, shame and restrain them and their influence.

As a nation that has legalized and even promotes sinful behaviors, we do not deserve Your favor. Yet there are faithful believers in great numbers who look to You, not politics, for justice and for salvation. On their behalf, we pray for Your strength to flow through them, that they might continue the Great Commission in this fallen society.

Confront us in this Lenten season with our private sins and doubts that may be hindering us as intercessors, Lord, that we may repent and be of greater service to You. Thank You for the torn veil, Lord, and this profound gift of prayer. Put the issues on our hearts that You want us to understand and intercede for.

Our nation is in need of You. We are blessed that You heard our prayers and presented us a warrior to fight for us.
We pray he will do Your will in eliminating the moles which make the foundation of this nation highly unstable. Please give him the necessities to erase Socialism, Satan’s curse, from this world.

As always, we pray for our brethren, ill and injured, that they be healed in spirit, mental, and physical health. “He calls them by name”

Heavenly Father God,

We sing praises of you for all which you've accomplished through our President and the many working with him on behalf of this nation and peoples..... We do realize had you not appointed those as you have we would have surely been undone as a nation...yet you spared us from that sure destruction of what this nation was designed for.

Even so Lord, the enemy of men's souls continues to raise it's head in our governing bodies to create chaos and confusion and with it mislead people......and so we pray this day that your eyes continue to expose what needs rooting out........that you appoint and raise up those willing to act on revealing the truth despite what it may cause them politically. ..Grant your people in places of office courage to stand and to act according to your will, purposes, and time in which you choose to act...and give us patience as your hand works in ways that we do not see for we realize we are sheep and startle easily. Thank you for being the God of this nation and for bringing down strongholds that oppose you and your will. In Jesus name....Amen
