Heavenly Father,
Thank you that you have a plan for our nation. Thank you Lord that you do not sleep, you are not surprised by things that happen, and we can rest in the knowledge that you are on your throne. Thank you Lord, that you have brought an army of intercessors together with the united desire to see your will done in this nation, in Israel, and in the world for your GLORY.

Lord it is hard to understand why the midterm elections resulted as they did. But we cannot see as You see. What we can begin to see are the great battles that lie ahead. We are a nation deeply divided. It's not really a divide in Parties, but in values and priorities. Election outcomes will not be able to heal our nation's divide. Only the Love of Jesus can do it.

Father, we pray for President Trump as he comes face to face with the opposition. Put a rod of steel down his back to strengthen him for the battles ahead. Encourage him with knowing there are an army of citizens who are rooting and praying for him. Help him to have Faith that the things he Hopes for will be accomplished.

Lord we pray for a good transition as new staff come in and pray for encouragement to those who are leaving.

Let us not grow weary in doing good. Help us to love our neighbors and above all to Love You for You have loved us with a great love by sending Your Son to be born in a manger. He was born to die and give His life as a ransom for the sins of the world. Hallelujah, what a savior!
