FATHER GOD,

Thank You for Your great love for us that sent Your only Son JESUS CHRIST to die for our sins. JESUS became sin for us. He was despised and rejected— a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care. (Isaiah 53:3)

We are so underserving of Your great sacrifice, LORD. Renew a right spirit within us. Pour out Your SPIRIT upon us. Fill us to overflowing. Fill us with Your LOVE. Change our hearts, O LORD.

STORY BEHIND THE SONG
Change My Heart Oh God is a heart cry song that came to me after a time of being in the presence of God during a private time of worship. The experience that I had was very similar to that of Isaiah, chapter 6. During my time of being in God’s presence, sin and attitudes of the heart were suddenly glaring me in the face. I realized that in order for me to walk uprightly before the Lord, I needed a heart transplant. I desperately needed for God to change my heart in order to love the things that He loves and to hate the things that He hates. I also was aware that oly He could change my heart. please look kindly upon us and receive our heartfelt gratitude in this time of giving thanks.
Thank you for all the graces and blessings you have bestowed upon us, spiritual and temporal:
our faith and religious heritage;
our Serra apostolate and all those who help us in our vocations mission;
our food and shelter, our health;
the love we have for one another, our family and friends;
and the works, prayer and example set by men and women who have already answered your call to the religious life.
Dear God, in your infinite generosity, please grant us continued graces, blessings and more laborers for the harvest throughout the coming year.
This we ask in the Name of Jesus, Your Son. Amen.
