My daughter is in the hospital on the other side of the country from me with what seems to me to be an undiagnosed illness, possibly liver disease. She had to be taken there yesterday by ambulance from a motel where she is staying because she could no longer walk or keep liquids down. She has not eaten any food in a month.
I don't know what to do if they release her. It sounds like she needs home care or a nursing home. She is too ill to travel.
Please ask the Lord to find an answer to this.
Continued PRayers for you and Julia.
God Speed.
Prayers for your daughter and for you and your loved ones are on the way, firebrand.
Watch, O Lord,
Amen.
Saint Augustine's Prayer for the Sick
This really helped my grand daughter, now I take it and it has helped my with bowel problems I have.
She was really quite ill, they couldn’t find what was wrong with her.
One day a package arrived from Amazon, they did not order it,they are in CO. package was supposed to go to a health clinic in CA.
A God kiss, I say. A lot of Prayers were being offered.
They called Amazon and they said keep it, they did and a few weeks later she started taking it and felt better almost the next day.
She take 1250 a day, I take 250.
Glutathione production also declines with age. The ‘mother’ of all antioxidants can be severely depleted during serious illness. ... Glutathione production can be supported by other supplements, including Vitamins C and E, selenium, alpha-lipoic acid, n-acetyl cysteine, B vitamins, and key botanicals such as milk thistle.Mar 27, 2018

Saw this last week, but couldn’t respond. God bless and hope all is going well.
Prayers for you and your daughter.
Still praying for Firebrand and his daughter Julia
I suggest calling nearby churches you might find online. They usually know what’s going on in the community and possibly could point you in the right direction.
Oh yes. For sure. We are both blessed in that way, and many other ways.
She worships our God. Thank you for being concerned about that. It is the most important thing.
Yes, I was stressed out. Thanks for understanding.
Many, many thanks. I just found the time to check this thread out slowly and I am overwhelmed. Thanks to the people who said just go out there. You were right. It may have helped her recovery, which is ongoing. But your prayers are what did it, or rather our Lord did it because of your petitions and love.
The hospital staff are carefully checking her signals while gradually improving her diet. She has to go slowly but is now following a vegan diet and one that is as pure as possible. It was such a joy to see her appetite back although amounts are still small.
If ever someone you know is suffering total lack of appetite and physical rejection of food, even juice, get that person help at once. Don’t wait until they are too weak to walk! Of course I had no idea this was happening until the crisis point.
I will never forget what you all did for her and me.
Further update: My daughter has been getting stronger, with the good care of Boulder City Hospital. It turns out, though, that what happens when you are released from a hospital varies state by state, and Nevada has no legal obligation to help you if you are unable to help yourself. Or it is at least much more difficult to prove that you need the help than it is in California, NY, NJ, Virginia, etc.
All I was given was a list of Clarke County services, all back in Las Vegas, which Julia has left because of the vibe there. It is much quieter here, and in fact a cabbie told me Boulder City is considered the safest city in America. But Vegas has the services, because it needs them.
Just keep praying if you have the desire to. I am stymied and don’t know what I will do if they release her today (Saturday). I can’t take care of her myself, if she would even consent to move back to my apartment.
Many, many thanks for your continuing help and concern. I am far from home but never far from FR.
Praise God.
Heading out to Mass right now and will be saying prayers of Thanksgiving for Julia.

Thanks for the update and prayers will continue. Hope she can move in with you for awhile. Sounds like she is on the mend.
Continuing prayers. God bless.
My oldest daughter’s name is Julia also. I will continue to pray for the Lord to give you both strength and healing.
Ty for the updatem so glad you went to see her. I’m sure you both are. Glad she is getting stronger.in my state the hospital will not release you if you live alone without a plan. They let you name 3 rehab places and they find you a bed.
Great news! There will surely be a a solution at hand.
AMEN!!
Praise to our GOD!
HE is GREAT!!
