Please pray for all those that are getting tests and awaiting results that may indicate a serious cancer.

This morning a second and much too humble FReeper who (for the moment) will remain nameless has requested prayers for an upcoming scan.

Please add your first name to this thread and we will all pray for your complete healing and freedom from all anxiety by name to the Divine Physician and in prayer may we all be drawn nearer to each other in unity with our brother, Lord and Savior Christ Jesus who desires that we all be as one.

My family came very close to experiencing such as well... outside of an absolute miracle... my daughter would be another victim.

Mrs InFool7 and I live in Illinois outside of Chicago and her sister Janet lives in Missouri near St Louis.

It's been heartbreaking to watch this unfold. The little family has be demolished by drug addiction. Ryan’s dad was exposed to pot from childhood but was a dedicated and hard working father for many years before he started drinking and smoking heavily. Mom turned to drugs and abandoned the family so Rick and Janet took over custody of the kids.

Draw close to Janet and Rick, Lexi, and Sarah as they mourn the loss of their grandson and brother. We ask that you comfort InFool7 and his family as well.

May Your grace, mercy, and love fall on this grieving family. Surround them with Your ministering angels, and may they feel Your rest and peace at this time. You promise to see them through.

May good come from Ryan’s premature and senseless death. So many children and grandchildren are addicted to drugs. May those addicts who knew Ryan realize the risks they are taking and the devastation they cause themselves and their families. Give them courage and strength to seek help.

Open the hearts and minds of the unsaved who will attend the funeral. May they commit their lives to JESUS CHRIST.

JESUS, You are the answer for the world today.

I know of an area that has developed such drug problem that the coroner apparently wants a 2nd morgue.

Every once in a while, I meet up with a “recovering” meth addict. Their voices sound raspy, and it’s just sad.

To all those who offered up their prayers to me, they worked!

(Posted on Facebook last time and after a good sleep I wanted to say this to all the FReepers who prayed for me.)

I went to my radiation and chemo treatments scared to death. Good old Greg Allen drove me there and back and I will give him a gold star for his efforts.

I had a lot of pain holding my arms back while in the infernal radiation machine that whirled about me shooting left over parts of the Little Boy bomb at my cancer. Yet the good meds the doc gave me kicked in and the pain did not last very long after I got out the radiation's grip and put my arms down.

Then 30 minutes later I was in the chair for my chemo. My pucker factor was on high alert but the pin that went into my Bard Power Port hardly hurt at all.

Nurse Carrie stared the drip and I laid back with a book to try and read while I expected to shortly be puking up a storm over everything in creation.

Then--

Then--

Then nothing really happened. I sat there for near four hours while the nurses dripped different chemo drugs into my port.

I kept reading and every time they asked how I was, I said, "Okay."

I kept awaiting the "Big N" but the nausea never came. I felt a little bloated but nothing else that my fear has me feeling--

The nurse told me to stay well hydrated as it would really help. Brother am I going to stay hydrated!

After it was over I made it out to get in Greg's truck for a ride home. He asked how I was and I said, "Better than I ever expected to be!"

Now I am at home after taking just as a precaution, one of the anti-nausea pills. I've eaten a banana and washing down some crackers with cold water and all seems well.

Thank you to everyone that is praying for our family.

I just spoke with Janet and read some of the prayers that have been posted here, she can feel your prayers warmly comforting her and the entire family.

it was found that Ryan had four drugs in his system at the time of his death: Marijuana, Methadone, Heroin and Fentanyl

Please pray for an end to this terrible scourge that is plaguing our young adults.

I have also learned that a friend (had moved away about five years ago) and brother knight, Lance from my council has passed away.

Please Pray for Lance and his family

Eternal rest grant unto Lance O Lord and

may perpetual light shine upon him

may his soul and all the souls of the faithfully departed

through the Mercy of God rest in peace.
